The clasp is a solid metal, the tongue buckle and material are a bit cheap, but it does what it's supposed to so far.

Highly recommend it fits into any car seat belt, The color is fantastic my dog actually is calmer in the car while wearing this much safer for me to drive as well and gosh forbid if we got into an accident- I now feel responsible pet owner safety 1st buckle your animals up!
