I purchased similar ones before these that clip to the child seat anchor. I thought these were similar. These clip into the seat belt latch. Literally within seconds of clipping in one of our dogs, she hit the seatbelt release and this detached. I reattached it, and before we reached our destination it was again unclipped. Useless.

Ein sehr stabiler Gurt in Verbindung mit dem Ezydog Drive Autogeschirr. Der Gurt hält unseren Hund, auch bei unverhofftem Bremsmanöver, wirklich empfehlenswert!

This car restraint can be easily placed in any car (seat belt lock) and allows our dog to sit or sleep in a position of comfort. More traditional bed took up lots of room and our dog consistently tried to climb out ofIt. When used with a harness- our dog is safe and well secured

I use this to keep my dog in the backseat of my car and out of my lap while driving. It’s great for that purpose, but not crash rated. EzyDog sells a harness that is crash safety rated. I intend to purchase that next, but for now I am using their EzyDog harness with this seatbelt. I never attach the seatbelt to the collar, always use it with a harness for safety and comfort. I own several collars and seatbelts made by this company and pleased with them. Durable and long lasting, but always watch your dog because they will chew if left unattended.

I have an 11 month old corgi that loves to run about the car and check out everything! She tried jumping out the window one time so I needed something to keep her in place without sacrificing her ability to look out both windows. This product does just that. The quality is great as well. The belt feels like it’s made out of strong quality material, just as equal, if not, better than my own vehicle’s seat belts. When you first click it in, it feels very secure and does not wriggle at all which is great. You can adjust the belt a good length. I drive a Toyota BB which is the Japanese name for a Scion XB (the toaster box looking vehicle) to give you a picture of the amount of room on the inside. With this belt clipped into the right side, my dog still has enough room to reach the left window with the belt almost fully extended. Dont use this a Volvo as it states several times on here and on the belt. This made me nervous as I live in japan and a lot of times you will find out of country products aren’t compatible with everyday things as simple as a seat belt but this worked perfectly!I would highly recommend using a harness instead of a collar with this just for safety reasons. This is meant to keep your dog in one spot so your not distracted while driving. Not as collision protection which is stated on the belt as well. All in all great product I’d recommend it friends.

My dog loves jumping in and out of the front and back seat of the car while I'm driving & this wonderful invention prevents him from doing that now.He also stays secured and SAFE when I hit the brakes because usually he bumps his head or nose to the dash board. Awesome product!!UPDATE :For some reason, the seat belt itself comes out of the seatbelt holder (buckle) that has the red button to click to release it from the car.I left my dog connected to it (stepped out to post office really quick) from his harness and it was short enough that he can only sit or lay down on the seats.I came back and found him unbuckled so I guess it's loose or something when he pulled it out. Or maybe I just got a defective product, it used to work good for me and still using it today. It just doesn't buckle securely because my dog can actually pull it out if he wants. If I buckle him up, it clicks in and I try pulling it and it's fine, for some reason my dog can unbuckle himself if he really wants to escape and transfer to the back seat. Maybe mine is just defective.

This car harness has worked out really well with our 25lb poodle mix. I was concerned that he would be TOO restrained, but that's not the case. He can freely stand, look out all windows, sit and lay down comfortably. We primarily wanted this to keep him safer in the back seat and also to keep him from trying to get through the middle section between the front seats. We have had to stop short on a couple of occasions and I didn't have to panic that he would be thrown. This is such a simple yet brilliant solution. I plan on ordering a separate one for my husband's car.

I found the Ezy Dog restraint works great with my boxer. Usually she is excited when riding in the car, and I often have to remind her to sit or lay down for her safety. With the dog car restraint on she lays down and is more relaxed, and obviously better protected. I have piece of mind, and our car rides are much more enjoyable. The restraint is easy to use and slips into any seat belt. We put seat belts on our children and ourselves for safety, thank goodness we now have the option to do the same for our pets. I would recommend this safety restraint to all dog owners.Diane
