works excellent, superior to points ignition, smoother running and easier starts. a little more complicated at install then as advertised. Called Technical support and they walked me through the procedure with clear and concise instructions.

Worked perfectly. Had to drill revits but I kept everything and could easily be put back to stock if needed.

Pros: Once installed, it worked. I got a very good, healthy spark.Cons: This is supposed to be a reversible process. You're supposed to be able to simply reinstall your points should you decide to do so. That was not the case for me. The ignitor did not fit until I drilled out two rivets and removed the small plate that the points mounted to. I felt like I over paid for this and now I'm committed to it since I can't put my points back in.UPDATE: Less and less impressed by the day. The fit is not perfect. I've driven less than 100 miles and I'm already seeing wear and tear on it. I'm pretty much waiting for the day it breaks. I wonder if it will last more than 200 miles. Very disappointed that I'll probably have to replace the distributor entirely in order to get back to the good ol' points. Not sure if this is the fault of the ignitor but ever since installing it my engine has been difficult to start. If I retard the timing, the engine is easier to start but hesitates on acceleration and lacks power. If I advance the timing, it runs much better on the road but is very frustrating when trying to start the engine.
