Converted from points system in 1974 Jeep CJ 5 with 4.2 inline six. Immediate improvement all around. Starting is faster, low end performance in the woods is improved and engine runs smoother on the road. This is in a new rebuilt engine that was running great to begin with so this kind of improvement in performance is impressive. I had already installed a new stock coil so I didn't upgrade to the Flamethrower coil offered by Pertronix. Company rep told me I would probably not see much difference in the coils since my use is at low rpms. I rarely exceed 2500 rpms on the road which is about 55 mph and handling and stopping with drum brakes at that speed is interesting to say the least. Very happy with purchase.

Works adequately although the plastic surrounding the magnets cracked during installation.

The kit I bought ended up in a 1061 Corvair. It was an easy kit to install, and even though I used a stock coil, it made a dramatic improvement in the way the car runs. This is the second kit I bought for the car. The first one lasted around 6 years. That's really great considering points in a Corvair only last about 6 months under regular use.One thing that would be good to have is a bit more detail on the troubleshooting process for the installed kit. It took a while to figure out that the problem was the module itself.
