After doing some research to find out which tool I needed for my 95 F150 4x4 hubs, I got this one and it worked great.

Just what I needed to remove the rotor and axle on my F-250HD 97. 2 5/8" diameter. The socket pins tended to pop out when used with a ratchet, but popped nut loose easily on an impact driver. Or maybe could try a T handle breaker bar.

Broke the first one first try. Axle nut wouldn't budge with a 3/4 drive and a breaker bar, so I went to an impact with 1200 ft/lbs of torque. I broke the socket before realizing It was left hand threads. Got a replacement, and had the axle nut off in seconds without damaging the tool. Great fit, great quality, great price.

This product is mandatory for Ford front Dana 60 as it is needed for the spindle nut. The price is fair and the quality is good.

It seems to fit off a little, but tapping it in makes it work sufficiently. I am concerned that roll pins may not hold up with heavy use...

Picked up a used ford and it badly needed a brake job. When I got to the rotors, they needed replaced too. Getting those out revealed all the very old grease in the hub assembly. So a simple brake job turned into a full front end overhaul. Good times 😅. Anyway, couldn’t find this tool anywhere local and this saved the week!It removes the lock washer behind the manual lockout assembly. You’ll need it again after fishing the part which seats onto the rear washers “bump”. Please get the book from AutoZone or somewhere for your vehicle. You’ll need a torque wrench for reassembly and there’s a trick to the inner most washer and locking plate.I used a breaker bar but really would have benefited from a 1/2” extension on it, especially for reassembly. Get disposable and mechanics gloves, you get the full spectrum of dirt and knuckle busting on this job.

I purchased this tool for my sterling 10.25 in my 1995 F350 dually to be able to remove the wheel hub and repack the bearings. This tool did the job it needed to do with ease and will last a long time. To anyone looking at this tool but also needs the nut socket for the front axle on 4x4s, look for the Gearwrench kit that has this socket along with the 6 point 4x4 socket for 3/4 ton-1 ton front axles, the 4 point socket for the half ton front axles, and it also comes with the universal spindle puller. The spindle puller threads on the Dana 44, Dana 60, and I believe the Dana 30 series axles. You use the spindle puller with a slide hammer. This is a great kit to use and you won't regret getting it.
