I got this to repair a vintage quilt because the fabrics were so worn and thin. After I took the quilt apart, I fused this to the backs of the thin material, and it remained nice and soft, but because this is a fabric you’re fusing to your fabric it provides extra strength. I feel like it will help the quilt survive many more years now. So if you’re looking for an interfacing that is soft and flexible, this is great.

Found this product met my need for a light weight support of fabric in small craft items without making them too stiff and hard to arrange in the item, as always, Pellon is a very reliable name in such products.

This is fusible interfacing, which means iron-on fabric stiffener, and it’s the only kind I use. It’s lightweight and adds a little stiffness while still being flexible. I’ve been using it for many years, and it’s never failed me. The instructions are excellent, and it’s easy to use.I use this to stiffen just about any fabric I’m using. If I’m cutting out a specific shape, using this on the back first makes it so much easier to cut accurately. It also makes it much easier to run the fabric through your machine, and gives things like buttons more of a backing. This is 100% non-woven polyester, which seems to be recommended by most of the facial mask pattern makers these days. I’ve used it to make masks for my family and friends, and it passes air pretty well.It cuts easily using either scissors or a rotary cutter. It bonds with light heat from an iron, and I’ve never had any problems with delamination. It comes in a variety of weights, although I normally use this lightweight for everything. This review was paraphrased from my wife, who is a seamstress and quilting pro.

This interfacing was perfect for making masks. I only wish I had purchased more. It's very easy to use. One side is rough where you iron onto your fabric, the other side is smooth. It makes the fabric sturdy almost like a piece of printer paper. It holds up well to washing, but I will say that it holds up better when you use a single piece on your fabric and sew around all the edges. If you try to piece together your scrap interfacing, it starts to come away from the fabric after a few washes.
