INSTALLATION
1. Turn off Ignition.
2. Keep your key fob (if applicable) at least 35 ft. (10m) away from your Lexus IS. This prevents your car from using power to transmit signals to your proximity key fob sensor.
3. Leave your driver’s door open for 15 minutes to allow your ECU to shut down completely.
4. Locate and disconnect your accelerator pedal assembly plug.
5. Plug in your Pedal Commander in line with your accelerator pedal assembly plug until you hear a “click.”
6. Make sure the cables are tucked in place so they do not interfere with your driving experience.
7. Place and mount the Pedal Commander to your desired location using the velcro and mounting bracket that's included in the box.
IMPORTANT
To avoid receiving check engine lights or other issues, it is important that you follow these instructions properly. Also, please ensure that you hear a “click” sound while connecting the plugs, as this signifies a secure connection.

This throttle response controller completely transformed my driving experience. The installation was straightforward and took only a few minutes. The difference in throttle response is immediately noticeable, especially in Sport+ mode, which adds a whole new level of fun to driving. Eco mode is also handy for saving fuel during long commutes. It’s great to have the flexibility to adjust settings depending on my mood or road conditions. If you’re looking to enhance the performance feel of your Lexus, this is a must-have upgrade!

Our Lexus IS convertible is our weekend fun car, but we mostly drive it in the autumn and spring when the overhead sun isn't so blazing hot here in Florida, and the temps outside aren't below 65 or so, and that means not as much winter driving. But we've had it out a couple times with this pedal commander installed and I really enjoyed the fast throttle response and power increase that it now has. I have put one of these in another vehicle so I know how to set it up fairly fast and have some idea of which presets to use. Works great and I just leave it in sport mode all the time for this car - very much recommend this.

This is a simple way to increase your MPG without having to shell out money for a ton of modifications.The throttle controller can easily be used to increase performance as well but mainly I use it just to add a bit more gas mileage on my longer trips using the Eco function.With that being said I do love the increased throttle response and you can feel the difference almost immediately.I installed it myself with ease and depending on how mechanically inclined you are you'll be able to do the same. If not, I would find a shop that works specifically on electronics and engine management to handle it as opposed to just your local mechanic.Overall I think it's a great option for either more MPG or more performance.Until We Meet Again-Off the Grid Ken

The pedal commander had my car in the shop 3 different times . Lexus is200t would go into limp mode after a few weeks of having it installed . They have uninstall it and reinstall it 3 times and same thing keeps happening. Only when I take the pedal commander off car goes back to normal . I can’t seem to get it replaced or refunded and I only had it a 1 year and it happened in the first 6 months of installing it . They told me to do a update on the pedal commander and still a few weeks later ran into the same problem. They have not fixed the issue and now I’m waiting on refund or replacement. !!!! Let’s see what happens 🤬

bought it for my lexus gs f-sport. I don't think this item makes a big difference. I've watched reviews on youtube most of them used this in D- mode not manual mode, and it made the car jerk to make you feel it's faster. the lexus is- gs they have 4 different modes auto + manual, if you want your car to feel faster just switch to sport plus and turn it to manual to use the shifters. When you're in manual mode, your car jerks too but it's safe because it's under control, if you want your car go crazy just step on the gas a little bit harder. It works in other cars but for lexus, i don't think we need this because lexus engineer team designed the auto- manual mode very well. If you wanna save gas just turn to eco, if you want the car jerk to feel faster, move to sport + and manual mode, that's all you need, the car feels faster, more throttle responsiveness but in a safe way. Don't take my words, you can test it, without this device the car is already fun to drive in sport + manual mode. And if you wanna save gas, turn to eco mode and be gentle with your foot, you don't really need this.
