  • Goof Rings For Recessed Lights: This trim ring thickness is only 0.04 inches, its overlay sits flush against the ceiling in between the drywall and the recessed light. Also works with ceiling fans and pendant lights. Steel material, durable to use.

these are very thin metal so sit nice and flush to ceiling way better than the plastic ones. Just be sure to measure the inner ring depending on your light style we have the slim puck style and the 5.85 inner fit our 6 inch overall fixture . We had taken the can style pot lights out and replace with the new slim puck style led .

Goof rings worked perfectly. The replacement light did not quite cover the damage after someone had messed up my ceiling trying to fix the old light . Wallah! Goof ring left it looking perfect.
