This item's brightness and tone is consistent with the other 3000K Nicor light I am replacing. With the included plug, it was easy to install. I opted not to use the included padding because the fixture was more flush to the ceiling without it, but it was nice to have the option.

When you want to change this light you may notice the socket already different than the broken one since your old light may be 10 years old. However don’t be afraid to cut the wire and switch the socket. It is not that difficult.For the product it is bright and new. I like it and will buy more if needed

Nicor has downgraded this product. It is no longer 94CRI and R9>68. It is also now manufactured in Cambodia not China as shown in product specifications. The serial number is unchanged but the product is now of much lower quality and performance. I have now attempted to purchase the same lights through two different vendors one being amazon, the other a large box store chain from their website. Both were delivered straight from Nicor, both to my disappointment were the new downgraded model. The lights work fine but I am paying a higher price for a supposedly superior product that is not actually being delivered. It is deceptive and you need to update your advertised product specifications and not try to pass it off as the prior generation, higher quality product.

Toke awhile to find a replacement for my original one. This absolutely is the ticket. It the fit and electrical plug was a perfect fit. I’ve had this for long while and it’s going strong. Also very easy to install. Good quality.
