The 17575 measures 8-inches in diameter with a glass lens aperture of 5.25-inches. The trim is perfect for showers, general bathroom lighting, closets and outdoor covered patios. We installed only to find it is not actually white. More of a off-white or bone color. It does not match ceiling color.

Just received these rings, I had asked a question regarding the Lexan version being "tougher" prior to ordering. To my complete satisfaction these rings are exactly that...stout and should provide years of service. I had a prior set of rings purchased from Home Depot that were in service for about 5 years and when changing a bulb one of the plastic hold-downs for the springs snapped off in my hands rendering the ring useless. The ring had become brittle with age (only 5 years) which is why I was willing to spend more if the Lexan version was a better product. The plastic on the new rings is not only thicker but the springs are also of a thicker gauge as well leaving me to believe that these rings will last much longer. The glass reflector is also of good quality and that said the area being illuminated appears brighter. Don't hesitate on purchasing these rings they are great!
