Used these for our recessed lighting that were not properly insulated when installed. They were easy to install, look great and definitely help with the drafts we were getting.

My master bathroom had an older almond color trim can light cover with frosted glass. This caused the light in the shower area to be less than optimal. In fact, once I replaced the entire unit with this one (which was relatively easy), I was surprised at just how much brighter the shower area was with the same bulb I was always using. It is nice and bright now and much easier to see -- and easier to clean thanks to the extra light. Totally worth the $10 or whatever it cost at the time!

We put this light cover in our shower. It is easy to put in and adjust. Great value for the price. I like that it doesn’t dim the light too much. It’s clear glass. We’ve had it in for a few months now and it seems to be pretty well made.

I got these to try and cover two outside recessed can lights to keep wasps from building a next in the can. But I got a size too big, so I had to return them. The quality was great! The return was easy.

Well made for the money, with the exception of the spring clips. They are to weak to hold the lens cover tight to the ceiling to get a good seal around the outside metal ring and ceiling. Once installed I was able to see light from the bulb shining through the ring and drywall ceiling. I had to switched out my heavier spring clips from my old lens cover to the new one. The new lens cover then just snapped up tight to the ceiling making a airtight seal to keep the moisture out above our shower. If it weren't for the weak spring clips I would have given a 5 star across the board.

The fit and finish of this product was perfect for my needs, although the design is poor and made installation difficult and it's not clear how durable. The issue is the wire fixture holders and how they attach to the rings. The circular spring popped off several times during what should have been a simple install. The tabs holding the springs in place were completely inadequate. I bent them out slightly to allow the spring to slide under the tab and the spring held long enough to get the ring lifted to the fixture. It seems to be holding, but it's not a tight fit.I would not recommend this product, even though I was able to make it work.

Just replaced the cover for a canned light in both shower rooms. Pretty easy to replace. The product quality is good. Sturdy metal trim. Can't go wrong. Good paint quality as well.One thing to mention.. some light leaks out around the edge. I tried adjusting the cover, and could not eliminate the leaking light. Had no issues with the old plastic cover. I ended up using my old foam gaskets from my original plastic cover and placed it on top of a new gasket that came with the shower trim to seal out water vapor from escaping the shower and going into the ceiling. It was a perfect fit. Also I used my original springs from Halo as they are shorter and thicker. The new springs are thin and long. I found it is easier to install/remove the cover with shorter springs, they don't come off as easily from the shower trim. All of that fixed the issue with the leaking light, hopefully no moisture can't get in :)

This came as expected and seemed like a well-built product. Maybe the wires that hold the unit to the recessed can could be a little heavier; but had no issues installing the lights. They put out a well dispersed light over my porch. They fit tight to the porch ceiling and are unobtrusive. I would suggest you go with this product as the housing is made from Metal vs Plastic. One of the old Plastic lights I had dropped about 10 feet from the porch ceiling and smashed when the plastic housing failed... I guess because of fatigue from the hot and cold seasons. If it had hit one of my grandchildren, I believe it could have caused serious injuries... or worse. I have seen many reviews that say their Plastics lights have failed in the shower or outside as mine did.
