This does not slice or cut. It bends, tears and shreds. We bought it to professionally cut tissue paper to fit our website boxes only to find out that it is a piece of junk. Scissors and a ruler are a better bet.

Have not found anything to not like about this cutter. It does everything that I have asked of it. Use to cut vinyl for heat press works perfectly

As to performance, the cutter works quite well. The biggest issue I have, however, is there is just one ruler - on the short side, on the end with the cutter handle hinge - that is in standard U.S. units inches, etc. ALL of the others - those on the cutter base grid, and the template grids for various paper sizes are metric/European - cm/mm. I can make do, but this is an unexpected - and unadvertised - thing. Actually, had I known of this, I'd probably have kept looking for a new trimmer. if you live in Europe/UK, this'll do you well. If you're living in the U.S. and ruler measurements are critical, then you'd best keep looking.

This is great for the price. I paid less than $40 for it. I know with more expensive models I could get something a little fancier but this works well for me. It has inches across the top but down the side and in the middle measurements are in cm and mm, which is fine because there's no time to learn the metric system like the present! I keep my ruler handy for the measurements going down. It is DEFINITELY worth the money!! Great purchase. I love the lock (you can do it one handed) and the blade is nice and sharp. It's metal and not too heavy. I can move it alone. Thanks for the paper cutter! So much better than scissors and a good work space for lots of things.

Love this thing. Seems to be very well built and used extensively so far. The plastic guide across the top is too flimsy to be useful and the measurements are off but they are at least parallel with the straightedge. Great buy for the money.

When cutting paper the top cuts fine but the middle doesn't, it folds and rips the paper and you have to do it again. You especially can't try and cut something fast. Thankfully there's a plastic piece that holds the paper in place so you can re-cut your item. I use it for art and ruined a few items. Also, most paper cutters have lines for every inch from the number to the bottom so your lines will be straight, this has many lines but not all from the inch number and down. I can't say it's a bad product because it was the right price and depends on what you need it for.
