I really thought my very active cattle dog puppy would love this. He loved it for about a minute and a half. It is too noisy and startles the dog. Plus you can only put in one ball at a time so you must stand at the machine and be 100% engaged. A ball launching Nerf gun is just as effective, but about a third of the price. And you can load about a half a dozen balls at a time and cut your workload down. Clever idea, but my dog is certainly not into it, and neither am I.

I was so excited to get this I have a border collie puppy that need a job. I thought chasing a ball and loading it would make her happy. It calls for 8 C batteries. You really have to cram them in. It doesn't work. It works if you plug it in. It's very loud and scares my dog. Google this product. It can't be found I find it to be very disappointing.

Works as described. It asked me to rate 'Motion Detection', I guess it uses that to sense if ball is there.Only caveat, and not products fault, is you MUST train your pet to use this. Would be nice if there was an easier spot to drop ball for dog. My dog is small, so dropping in the top hole is difficult. Also my dog is alarmed by all the noise the machine makes.
