In stead of cutting the metal it tends to bend the bottom cut into a lip you have to grind that away to finish the job.

We cut tin for an awning last year. It took 3 of us a great deal of time and energy just using snips and trying every other tool in my tool chest.This tool cuts through tin like butter. We love it!! Saved us soo much time.

I used these when I put a new metal roof on one of my out buildings. It takes some patience and some practice to control these. It was difficult to use on ribbed roofing. They work much easier on a flat piece of metal.
