I’m a sheet metal worker and in my opinion these are better than the Malco shears. They have an adjustable clamp that goes onto your drill and you can set it at any angle that you need to cut at, this way you only need one hand to make a cut. These cut quick, are easy to handle and don’t leave deformation after cutting like the Malco shears do. Definitely recommend.

When I purchased this I wasn't sure if it would work with my porter cable drill. It worked perfectly. Takes some time getting used to but is great for cutting siding or roofing tin.

We had major damage to our barn due to hurricane Helene. Saw this on the media and order for husband.This is the most amazing tool. Fits on a cordless drill and cuts roofing tin so easy. Is just $15 more from other cutters I tried and yes it really cuts aluminum sheets I got for my pontoon fence rehab. Really happy with outcome.Yes it will take a little practice to cut good straight line. I was ok with outcome. I would recommend it.

If you keep your eyes on what you are doing, you can cut a nice line with this. You just have to pay attention to the line, and you will get better over time. One con is this will leave a nice side and a wavy cut side, so practice on a throwaway piece first to see what side it leaves the nice edge on, if that matters to your cut.

The attaching instructions are Very Vague and could be a lot clearer. Once figured out (just from the picture) the cutter works very well. Would recommend. Saves so much time.

I needed to cut some metal corrugated roofing and I am definitely not a professional roofer. We recently had some roofing done and the contractor used one of thes, almost effortlessly. I bought one and it took some effort to get the roofing panels cut to the correct length. I was able to do an acceptable job but not as good as the pro would have done. Still, it was a much better than using a pair of scissor type shears: less effort and less time and strain. I would recommend these for light metal cutting. They do work and cutting in a straight line or gentle curve is relatively easy.

This product is good for cutting off metal sheets, metal roof pieces, or if the end you are cutting is going to be hidden somewhere. If you desire a "perfect" straight line cut, this is not the tool for that.Also if there's a ridge that needs to be cut off, then this tool is hard to maneuver.I recommend this product if it's for a quick cut off.I do not recommend if you need straight line or if there's a ridge that you need to cut through, because this one is hard to keep a straight line or cut-off a ridge on the metal sheet.
