This cutter really does the job no questions asked! I've cut two large magnetic boards (the flexible kind that attach to fridges) like they were melted butter. It took me longer to get the cutter out that it took me to cut the two large magnetic sheets. Wow! The cutter was super easy to use and the speed was just right. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver. The only thing I wish it had was a cover over the blade for safety when machine is not in use.

I have a lot of cardboard boxes to take apart and this powered cutter has been a lifesaver. I live in an apartment with a long drop down chute for the recycling so it is necessary for me to break boxes down flat and also narrow enough to slide down the chute freely. It’s not super fast but definitely faster than doing it manually and cramping my hand.The battery also lasts a really long time. I’ve only had to charge it twice in the past month and I’m using this thing quite often. I also appreciate the extra blade included. This is a great entry level electric scissor and I’m impressed.

What a handy tool. Seems like everything we get comes in some kind of cardboard or plastic. I never considered getting something to help open or cut up the packaging. Boxes tend to sit around until I drag them out to the garage and cut them up on the garage floor with a utility knife. Not any more! This handy little tool makes fast work at cutting up those cardboard boxes, you no longer have to get down on the ground to do it. The tool also cuts through those tough plastic packages.I was concerned about the safety of using something like this. You have to hold down a safety lever and then push a button to operate. It sounds more complicated then it is. The safety lever and button are both convenient and seemed well balanced to use, I didn't have any issues with my hand getting tired or sore while using it.I did have occasions when cutting larger sections of cardboard when the tool got "stuck". I was able to easily move the tool around and get back to cutting, for that reason I gave it 4 stars. I didn't try cutting any type of metal so I can not attest to that.The tool comes with an extra set of blades that I have not yet tried because I haven't needed them yet. The tool comes with a small instruction book that is straight forward to read and understand which I appreciate.I am very happy with this tool. My husband tried it and really liked it as well. I think it is a handy tool and well worth the value.

This thing has totally saved my hands! I have a retail business, which means I deal with A LOT of boxes, and breaking them down for the recycling bin is an absolute pain, and I used to dread that task so much. Also, while I'm confident in my utility knife skills, there is always that fear of "one mistake and I'm on my way to the ER" when you're slashing at cardboard.I love this little cutter! It's not a serious power tool or anything, so don't expect it to rip through corrugated cardboard like a chainsaw. If you just give it a little pressure and let it take its time, it will slice right through and make your box-cutting job a heck of a lot easier.It goes a long time on a single charge, too. I've been using mine for a couple of weeks now and just now plugged it in. I was on the fence about ordering one of these, and I'm really glad I finally just got it.
