This is my first time using electric scissors, so I have nothing to compare to. The first thing I noticed was the build quality. The case is plastic but looks like very cheap plastic and isn’t designed well. For example, the case surrounding the USB-C charging port does not match the shape of the port and there are some minor problems with the fabrication. It does come with a charging cable and a charging block. But here again the design is not precise. The USB-A sticks out a bit from the block when plugged in, which I usually notice on items that are not well designed. The USB-C plug also does not insert the full way when plugged into the device. It did not really come with much instruction, but it was easy to figure out. I tested it on paper and cardboard. It did well initially at cutting up cardboard boxes but slowed down by box number 3. I’m not sure if it was losing its charge or if it was a different problem. I was not able to test it on leather or fabric. Overall, it was acceptable for cutting paper or cardboard. It makes a nice clean edge. I appreciate that it comes with a case and charging cord/block, but I wish the quality of construction had been better.
