Patent pending is always a warning sign written on any product.This one is no exception.#1 it will cut you#2 its not comfortable to use because how far you have to grab the tape.#3 its adjustable so you can use AMAZON BASIC tape with it. This was the only reason why i bought it.So i regret 2 things today. #1 buying amazon basic tape and #2 buying this dispenser.

I was tired of gunking up my scissors with tape adhesive every time i needed to cut a piece of tape.I liked that this dispenser seemed more compact and functional.It works really well.So well in fact that i bought a second one so i can use packing tape both upstairs AND downstairs!(My AuDHD self needs to keep items where i use them, and not move them to other spots, because i misplace things / forget where i put things too easily.I decided i’m not going to continue spending more than half of my time being frustrated and looking for things that i *know* i own, but can’t remember where i used it last, i’ve learned to adapt to my neurotype and needs.And part of that adaptation was getting a second packing tape dispenser so one stays upstairs and one stays downstairs 😉)

I had to tape up several boxes for mailing last Christmas and I wasted so much tape fighting to keep the cut edge accessible. I don’t know why I never thought to buy a better dispenser but it dawned on me there had to be a better way. Looked on Amazon and the thing that caught my attention was the phrase NEVER LOSE THE EDGE. I have been testing my new toy and it works! It really works. That cut edge never seals back down on the roll. It’s lightweight, cuts cleanly and the edge stays off the roll. Why didn’t I think to get this years ago!

I’ve had this for a bit now, and it has saved me from wasting a lot of tape. I used to use disposable tape dispenser from target, Also the large hand held dispenser no one likes. I wanted a better alternative and this is it! (Of course there’s the machine dispenser which I’m sure is great but a bigger investment) anyways.It secures the tape roll, can adjust different tape roll amount , by pulling down. The blade cuts with slightest movement of pulling down to side. The blade is covered by rubber on top, to prevent getting cut if you were to grab it from top. It has the edge pieces sticking out to hold the tape after you make a cut, I was skeptical but it doesn’t stick to it whatsoever. Meaning you can place a bit of tape down and pull very easily, it’ll glide smoothly across the box when taping. So no more headache with having to find the end piece an peeling it! Size is small and convenient. Comes with a handle on top. 10/10 I highly recommend, I package for eBay, mercari and Etsy. Small business. This product is great! Worth the price, will save you a ton on not having to waste tape. If you’re looking for an alternative to the standard large handheld red ones, I recommend getting this one. I even bought another for my boyfriend’s mom who also sells online. Hope this helps!

Maybe not what you would use for extended packaging use like constant all day use, but in a home use they are excellent. I have two of them and they are lightweight, easy to use, and you do not have to search for the end of the tape like in some types of dispensers. I will end up buying more of them.

Finally the Packing Tape Dispenser has been re-engineered!1.It is simple to load a new roll2. The serrated edge has a rubber protection strip. This also helps to not inadvertently puncture a new shrink wrap item during tagging.3. It is lightweight and has a low profile.I have used various Tape Dispenser for over 30 years and I been underwhelmed with them all, except this one!Kudos to the Team at Chagrinovations.An American Company! With great designers/ Engineers and a support Staff to make it all happen.I have purchased and given several of these to people I know that are in the shipping business and they a very pleased as well.My only comment would be, when this product takes off, will Chagrin Inovations please bring the manufacturing process back to America?Preferably Ohio.

This is a great tape dispenser and It’s been a great upgrade for sending out my Etsy orders.- the blade is very sharp- the guard tabs are really well designed, the tape never folds back on itself (see the picture) the tabs are wide to keep it in place but the way it works the tape doesn’t get stuck to them either- rolls smoothly- easy to hang up, I keep it on a hook so it’s always in reach but also out of the way- good for my tiny handsAll in all 10/10, It’s one of those tools in my life that while simple it saves me a lot of frustration. I love it and completely recommend it!

Dispenser Review Only- Very Lightweight- Rubber Protector Over Blade- Holds Large Rolls- Cuts Tape Effortlessly- Tape Wont Restick To Itself- Small Size- Plastic But Simi FlexibleThis Dispenser works great. I own a professional dispenser also and this is very comparable. The cutting blade on this is fantastic. And because it's so lightweight It's EASIER to handle. Features a rubber over the blade to keep it safer to use.My only Gripe is the fact I usually have to pull the tape out just a little to get enough out to stick so I can pull on dispenser without it pulling off if that makes sense to you.I tend to use this over my (professional)dispenser simply because of the small size and lightweight of it.I Would recommend this for home use. Because it doesn't have a handle and usually requires a quick pull on tape to start, it's not suitable for businesses or high use. But more than suitable for home use
