This metal tape dispenser works extremely well. I almost never lose the end and have to peel it off the roll, unlike the cheap plastic ones. I carry it around at work, so I prefer something lower profile than the “gun” styles. There are no instructions, so just feed the tape between the corrugated white rollers and the metal cutter blade. The end of the tape rests on the little white rollers after cutting. SUPER sharp cutting blade, and a replacement blade is included. Another plus is the anti-rollback thing on the inside - prevents your tape from reversing and disappearing. Not too heavy. Love it!

Very bad quality, after using for many packages and using frequently, the dispenser has taken a downward spiral for usage. The dispenser bends very easily and has become difficult to use and hard on the hands. Better off using the plastic (free) dispensers that comes with the tape. Very disappointed, should have kept using the tape gun, might be bulky, at least it doesn't hurt your hand and waste tape. After being bent, the roll of tape falls out and will cause you to waste tape and possibly hurt your hand. Lesson learned, do not re-invent the wheel, keep using the original style tape gun, you will be better off not using this dispenser.

This is a great tape dispenser! Perfectly designed, I can either run the dispenser along the package and the tape dispenses and cuts without much effort, or can pull the tape out manually and cut it along the serrated edge and then apply it with my fingers. Either way, the dispenser works perfectly. ALSO… the tape does not retreat back onto the roll where you have to try to find the edge again. The end of the tape stays in place, ready for the next job. It's easy to load and I might get another for the other rolls of tape that I use.

As someone who tapes up boxes every day—I estimate over 35,000 (at least) over the years—I have been driven crazy by many different styles of tape dispenser. With this PROSUN tape gun, I finally believe I have found the perfect product for my needs. When your daily work involves using a particular tool, you want that tool to WORK for you so you don't even have to think about it. This one is it! After recently reading about the legendary 3M H-122 dispenser I bought two of them sight unseen. They're decent, but WAY overpriced, and the all plastic construction left me cold. Comparing the H-122 to this Prosun dispenser, there is no comparison at all. The Prosun just blows it away. It's far more affordable, higher quality, and it's even quieter when you use it. The plastic 3M dispenser makes a LOT of incredibly loud squeaking noises, the plastic seems to resonate and amplify the sound when you pull the tape out. It's deafening, actually. The all metal PROSUN product doesn't have that problem at all. Don't even think twice, buy one for everyone in the office NOW!

Made my life so much easier. I use packing tape a lot for a lot of reasons other than packages. Every time I pick it up having to find and peel the edg was getting pretty annoying so I figured find a dispenser just figured it might be a little big and take up space in the desk drawer. This is not too big it feels heavy duty yet it’s pretty simple and works great. Never have to worry about finding the tape end again and if I ever move this will probably be the most helpful thing ever. Top is hinged so as the roll gets smaller the top will follow he size of the roll. Squeeze to get the tape to stop dispensing by pinching the roll in between the middle and the top hinged flap, then use the teeth to get a clean cut. Simple and easy as that.

I recently up'd my on line sales game and I felt it was time to move to a big girl tape dispenser. I didn't want a long handled one as they are a bit too heavy for me. When I found this and read the great reviews, I decided to try it and so far, so good! It's durable, easy to load, and easy to use. I kind of just tap the dispenser down on the package so it sticks and has a starting point then roll out to the desired length. I also give it a good tug at the end so it cuts easier. Just need to experiment with it a bit. Overall, very pleased.Update: Whoo hoo! I recently used it in a whole house move, worked great and the original blade is still sharp. Use quality tape (not the real thin stuff) and it should also work efficiently for you as well.
