I am definitely a brand snob when i comes to this Duck packing tape. After our move 8 years ago & mailing pacages for my small business, it was time to get new tape despensers. So happy that i did!

The spent roll can be discarded and a new one inserted into the holder. I like that there is less waste in having to order one with another plastic holder.

I guess by easy start they mean the very first time you use it. But after that, it’s horrible - it flips right down on the roll despite the little guides, and you’ll be hard-pressed to get started again …because it splits constantly into strips. RETURNING

Same as the Duck Carton Sealing Tape: The tape works fine (slightly inferior to the Duck brand) but the dispenser feels somewhat flimsy to me. HOWEVER, I would give this an extra quarter star (if I could) for the EZ start. It does work and saves you time and aggravation.
