This is such a great tape dispenser, that after having one of my own, I just bought this one for my parents because they’re using the old-fashioned gun style tape gun. And this just works so much better and takes up half of space.

I wanted something sturdier than the red dispensers that come with the top brand, and this seemed like a good bet. It IS sturdier. And the tape roll doesn't fall out. I like the color too.But it's big. Not only does it take up a lot more room in my drawer, it's too bulky for my hands.I've tried different moves for cutting the tape. Sometimes, it seems like going the opposite direction is better. But it's hard to tell. Half the time I end up pulling a lot of extra tape off the roll and end up pulling out my scissors. When I do get a clean snap, there's a good chance the tape will backstick.I hate using more plastic than is necessary, but - unless I have a big assembly line going - I am going back to the short-lived "free" red dispensers.Tools can do more than just enable big strong hands to work faster. They can also enable smaller, weaker hands to do things they otherwise couldn't. If that goes against the "natural order" then fine, call me a revolutionary.

I agree with all the other 1* reviewers.. this thing is a piece of flimsy plastic junk! It’s way too lightweight, it’s confusing the first time you load it (I had to get on this app to look at listing how-to photos), and the tape roll isn’t tightly secured in the stupid holder. It wobbles around, making you have to do more work than you should! Should’ve invested a few more bucks on the better quality kind like shipping stores uses!

Wonderful tape gun.Tape moves easily in gun. Easy to hold on to dispenser.I really like that the tape stays in place in the dispenser after you cut a piece off. I hate it when you cut a piece off and then the tape goes back on tape roll so you have to pick at the roll to pull off another piece. But this one doesn't do that. The tape stays exactly where it should. I would buy again if I need one

I’m so use to pulling very hard with the green ones you get at the store , with the tape , that once I put it into my new , pink one it flowed much easer ! I had to learn how to press down on the back part to tighten the tape when sealing boxs .The cur off blade is sharp and you have to watch so you don’t turn it down too early !But I love ❤️ it much better then the other ones ! If you mail a lot , this is a must have ! Much easier on your hands 🙌

Instructions are unclear for loading tape. Print is small and hard to read. Could find no instructions online. Finally worked out how it must go. Smooth stroke when running across a box but doesn't work on soft packages. Did not find it as easy as they suggested for cutting. Had to twist it to get it to cut the tape. I do like the shape though, fits the hand well.

I run a small packaging and shipping store and am always on the lookout for equipment that makes what we do more efficient.When I opened my pretty pink dispenser I was taken aback because it looked like something a child would play with.But, I loaded the tape and gave it a try....man was I surprised! Easy to load, easy to operate and easy to find ( it being hot pink and all). You can adjust the pressure just by squeezing the handle. I ordered another one the same day I ordered this one, in neon green.I will be ordering another one soon.

Update: 2 years later and still works great. Tape residue builds up on where it cuts but that’s a given. Just a quick clean up every once in a while and it’s good. Has fallen from table to tile and survives the drop! Very sturdy. I’ve seen reviews where ppl are complaining there’s no instructions; you just slide the roll in grab the piece of tape and roll it in between the little handle it’s basically self explanatory.Got this a couple of days ago. So far worksGreat. Hasn’t broken. Seems sturdy enough. I pack boxes daily Monday to Friday so we’ll see how it holds up before end of month
