Never own a tape gun so have no comparison, however, was attracted to this style compared to others because of the metal structure either side bolted to the handle with the ability to use different size rolls. Others appear to use a lot of plastic, are open/not secured on both sides and only accept a single size tape. In use, it’s robust, simple to use, and the rolls tape on and costs nicely. Only downside is the tape coming with it is useless, but I don’t care as bought tape elsewhere. Can highly recommend at this price!

I work as a packer in a warehouse and the supplied tape guns are very noisy and the tape roll slips off them easily. This gun is quiet, the roll stays put when doing awkward movements and the tape doesn't fold down like it does on the other designs. If you use a tape gun regularly, you want this style gun.

Lo uso per il nastro da 300 metri, non ne ho trovati di migliori di questo, a differenza del modello prosun dello stesso venditore, questo di LDS Industry ha più tensione sul nastro. Di negativo, ma solo per i nastri da 300 metri, ovviamente il peso del nastro con certi movimentio potrebbe uscire dal dispencer.

This is a little lighter in weight but still works well. I use it with the 2 inch tape rolls. The bar that holds the tape on is nice and tight.

Using this gun was total frustration and balls of wasted tape. This model lacks both a knob to adjust how easily the tape roll turns as well as a spring loaded gate that keeps the tape in contact with the roller. All this has to hold the tape in place are two very small ears on both sides and they are not up to the task. Buy a model that has the spring loaded metal gate that presses the tape in contact with the roller as you will find on the Amazon Basics and Uline models as well as others. These other models also have a knob to adjust how easily the tape roll turns.

Sixty-seven boxes later, I can attest that this tape dispenser does the job! Never got stuck, worked well and quickly, and the sharp edge never dulled despite a TON of abuse (tape for all the wrapped items individually + all the boxes). MUCH better than our old one that we'd purchased at Home Depot.
