Unit preformed right out of the box. Slight delay but not objectionable. Will update after we perform preset setup and try it out. Nice unit for the price.

This device is replacing a Crestron 4x2 matrix and I must say so far the quality is great and the config/install/output is great.

I have a pc monitor 1440p, tv 4k, projector 1080p. All of which are synced to the matrix now. Word the wise check the edid in manual to change the sound and resolution configurations, initially had everything on 1080p till figured it out.Overall great product, would recommend.

Old Switch went south requiring another unit to keep my AV system functional. Layout of plugs and such is the same making the swap out straight forward. This unit over the old is a significantly better build; more solid feel and function. Only glitch was the remote being DOA out of the box. Customer service is working the issue for a replacement, so am happy with all that. Great Switch - time will tell if it is better that the replaced one which died in two years or so.

By far one of the best purchases I have made regarding my Video Studio. It cost me less than an Arm and a Leg to now switch my devices using a matrix switcher. I love how it can mirror two monitors with the push of a button instead of having to dig into the graphics setup everytiime i need to make a change to the config file. I don't always use mirroring. I prefer to alternate different sources betweeen the Two. The TV is generally used as a Media Player and the Desktop is used as a workstation. So easy a cave man can do it.

A good product that is simple to use. This unit works well for what we do. We have 2 inputs from a PC and 4 output monitorsThis gives us the PC screen and the extended screen.Setup was simple and it just works. Highly recommend.

This product works exactly as advertised. I have it currently set up with a PlayStation 5, Nintendo switch, Roku stick and Nintendo Wii as my inputs. My four outputs are two Dell 32-in monitors, 65-in Samsung TV and a 100-in projector. It is very easy to select between which output and input you want to set up. The remote works very well also. I like the fact that the unit comes with two tab ears so it can be mounted on the wall or mounted on a flat surface. I also like that there are manual buttons to switch between the inputs for each output. The only thing I do wish is that when mounted on a wall there's a way to be able to see the lights so you know which output has input showing.

Functionally, this was able to give me the setup I was looking for with the 4x4. Though it is extremely finicky in my opinion to make sure you've got the right output profile matched up. But, with a lot of tinkering you will get it. My BIGGEST issues though are (1) There is NO POWER BUTTON ON THE DEVICE itself. This became a big issue for me when I was having issues with my remote control. I had to fix the remote to be able to turn the device on and off. What the heck? (2) The remote has a very weak IR emitter. My couch is about 20 feet from my devices and the OREI is the ONLY device that struggles to receive the IR emission from its remote. I often have to get up and walk closer just to get it to receive the signal, whereas no other device I have has this issue... and there's no way a universal remote can mimic the complexity of the OREI's remote. I REALLY wish they did NOT CHEAP OUT on the remote. Not to mention, when I unpacked the remote the plastic button for the power button was not even pushed in properly on the remote. So... relatively good unit with absolutely horrible remote.

I have used OREI Splitters and Matrix Switches for awhile. They just work great and can handle 4K 60Hz. Alot of splitters and matrix switches on the market can only handle 4k at 30Hz. I've never had a problem with picture quality, splitting HDMI signals to multiple monitors or using a Matrix Switch to control what HDMI input gets director to which Monitor I choose. There is one caveat to this. It's the Power Connector that OREI boasts about. They speak about how the power connector screws into the back of their splitters and matrix switches. I really like that idea so it does not accidently get pulled out, however, the quality of this power connector is Awful. The wire used and connection to the connector is terrible. You move it slightly and it will disconnect. It's not the connector, its the wire cable and how it is attached to the power connector. If you read this OREI, please redesign this and solve the one single issue with these devices. Would I recommend, you bet. Just know going in, that this an issue but as long as your not moving the device around often, then you should be fine. Hope this helps. Still love the product(s) performance!!!

This is a nice little unit. However if you want to use it with Verizon Fios One and have 4K and 1080p tv/monitors -on/hooked up at the same time, the Verizon Fios One box will default to the lowest resolution of what is hooked up. If you only have 4K hooked up, Verizon will broadcast in 4K, and the matrix switch will deliver a 4K picture to all 4K tv/monitors. I spoke with Verizon Technical support and they will not allow you to over ride the Fios One box and have it set to constant 4K output. The downscaler function on this unit is useless with Verizon Fios One. You can not have mixed tv definitions delivered. If the manufacturer of the matrix device would dedicate one hdmi input to 4K and one output to 4K and have that input relay back to the source everything is in 4K, the Fios One Box would stay in 4K mode. Then the device would have to stop all two way communication on the other 3 hdmi outputs to mixed resolution monitors. The downscaler would then be applicable. Verizon Fios One is very limited as to what third party devices can be used with TV or internet. We can no longer use our more powerful wifi router because it would disable features of the new Verizon system.
