These devices are pretty simple. Can take one input and clone the input across various displays / TVs.I like coupling these with HDMI wireless transmitters and you can share TV source to multiple rooms, etcBut it's also nice if you have multiple TVs in same room and occasionally like to put the same input like a PS5 onto different TVsThis is not a switch and it doesn't do anything actively. Basically plug in the HDMI input and plug in the HDMI outputs and that's it.It does feel kind of cheap vs others I own but I hope that doesn't lead to any issues down the road. So far, so good. I recommend

I have a 1 to 4 HDMI splitter that is working but getting dated. I thought the supposedly updated/upgraded 1 to 4 HDMI splitter would be an improvement. But it works on one channel and when you add second channel it works for about 15 seconds and then shuts down. Tried it several times and each time it failed. Switched cables around and it still fails in 15 seconds on the second channel/output no matter where it is plugged in. The old HDMI splitter was put back into service and works fine. I'll keep looking for a higher resolution/newer splitter that works.

This splitter came in a nondescript box, but its function is clear. It's for splitting one HDMI source to four displays, which could be handy for presentations or gaming. It supports 4K 60Hz, which is impressive. Not sure about the "not for extend" part, but it looks like a solid piece of kit for duplicating screens.

While this splitter is only meant to service two monitors, it works flawlessly once set up. I like that it comes with a button that extends via cable to allow for easy swap-over without needing to reach for the main device itself.

I use this with holiday displays (such as window rear projection) with multiple projectorsand things like "scoreboard" type stats across multiple monitorsit's a cost effective solution that just worksnote : this is a duplicator NOT a distribution box, all outputs get the same signal[While this was sent to me for review, I take that job seriously. Getting people the wrong product is wasteful, irresponsible and a hassle for everyone. Not everything I review gets high marks -- BTW, I live in a high sales tax state, review items aren't exactly at-no-cost for me]

I tried splitting video without a powered device (another brand, NOT this device), and it didn't go well.I got this as an option.Splitting the HDMI with a power source over multiple ports worked really well! o No projector blinking off and on o No hint that I was using a splitter on any of the devices. This is small, compact, and doesn't seem to get hot with use.As advertised it's 1 in, 4 duplicates out. Exactly what I needed!
