Operation Guide:

Use Tips:

1. THIS SWITCHER is for 3 signal hosts to be displayed on 1 Monitor ONLY.

2. This HDMI Switch 4K can't switch automatically, ONLY by MANUALLY pressing the SELECT button.

3. For some devices, the HDMI Switch may not work when only one input device is power on due to insufficient power.

In this case, please turn on two or all the three input source devices to try.

4 If your input device (such as PS4 Pro) run 4K, please LOWER the resolution from 2160P-RGB to 2160P-YUV420, or to1080P.

For xbox one x series, please lower to 3840x2160@25hz.

5. If you run PS5, it will not work properly since the PS5 requires an HDMI 2.1 output while this is an HDMI 1.4b, so you may need to set the resolution from 2160P-RGB to 2160P-YUV420

6. It is recommended that the total length of HDMI cable is ≤3M if you need to get 4K@30hz video connections.

Product works great. Spacing between inputs is okay for two wide HDMI type devices such as Amazon Fire stick; use inputs 1 and 3, leave 2 empty. Would be nice if there was a remote for switching, but the LED's make it easy to see the input you're using. Exceptional value for the price. If you're not very tech savvy, the instructions are easy, and detailed. (don't forget your reading glasses.)

Loved this switcher, until my TV turned off every 15 or so minutes. For whatever reason, my LG TV kept turning itself off, like it does when there's no signal. Couldn't find a TV settng that would fix it (energy saaver was even off), so I tried another brand of HDMI switcher and it didn't have this problem, so I'm returning this one. This may work fine on your TV, but my LG didn't like it.

I like the idea. It has a switch for 1, 2, and 3. Only 2 isn't working w our DVD player. So will try it on our laptop. 1 is working. And 3 which is my Nintendo switch.Easy to change from the 3 inputs. If laptop doesn't work on 2 tomorrow will ask for a replacement.

My older Sony has two (2) HDMI inputs and I purchased this HDMI switch to add a third device, a Roku Express, to the already connected cable input and Apple TV. The device worked as advertised and I do recommend it for anyone who needs more HDMI connections. The negatives are the short cable which makes it difficult to locate the device-selection button and the lack of a remote control to make the switch from one device (Apple TV) to the other (Roku Express). Rather inexpensive, a great value and it WORKS!

This HDMI switch is good to have for a device that only has one port. For me, that device is the protector I have in my room as it only has one HDMI port. The first thing I will note about this adapter is that it requires a manual change for the channel. It does not default to whatever device may be on which is a bit of a downer. I have to manually press the switch to the correct channel every time. That being said, you would also need to manually walk up to the device to change it every time. It will always be on HDMI channel one. I tried turning on a HDMI two device while the other devices were off and it still defaulted to the HDMI one channel. For that reason, I use this more so for my project that only has one HDMI port. It does not require any additional power and has a pretty decent cable length to hide the adapter if needed. It can work with most HDMI televisions whether they be older or 4k TV. It does max out at 60 Hz from what I can tell so you cannot get the higher quality if you wanted. It also supports 3d capability from what I can tell. I tried it with my 3d television and it works just fine. The device itself is a little heavy so make sure you are able to put support under it or it may bend the HDMI head overtime. It is not too heavy that it cannot be held by some table. I actually just used some double sided tape to hold it on the bottom part of the my stand. There is a small but flimsy button you can press to change channel. It is only one directional so you cannot go from 2 to 1 channel you have to just cycle through the channels. It is not too big of a deal but wish there was a better way to select the channels. It does not require external power to work nor does the lack of external power effect the video or sound quality. The material is a bit rough. I am afraid it will get super rough from dust and such from long time use. I am scared it will either get a ton dust and debris stuck to it and it will be hard to get out. Overall this is a good way to turn your one HDMI port into three additional ports without the need for external power. Also make sure if you are going to have this hanging to have it attach to something to hold the weight to avoid damage to the HDMI. Overall this is a pretty decent HDMI switch. It is extremely basic and I wish it had a bit more remote functionality or at least smart capability where it is can detect which device is actually on so you do not have to walk up to the device to change it each time. It is a plug and play so you do not have to worry about the device needing anything extra to make it work.

I've only been using this HDMI switch for a day or two but based on the price I'm very pleased. I have a somewhat unusual setup. I'll bore anyone who might need to know specifics with the details below. For those who don't care let me just say if this will work with my setup, it will probably work with yours. This switch works fine for me with Windows 10 and using an HDMI to DVI cable with a cable coupler on the HDMI output. If all you're looking to do is add a couple more HDMI ports to your TV or Monitor this will probably work awesome for you without breaking the bank.Pros+ Affordable+ Simple to set up and use+ Compact+ Works with an HDMI to DVI adapter cable+ Works with a dual monitor setup in Windows 10+ Pretty nice quality for the price+ No fancy bells or whistles that can cause problems+ This works with my setup. No black screen etc.+ Seems to work fine with HDCP so Netflix etc. works fine for me.Cons- If the integrated output cable goes bad you're pretty much done. (Not likely with reasonable care and handling though)- I'd prefer a design where all the ports (input and output) are on the back side- As with any budget HDMI switch you'll need to find a way to pass audio if you're converting to a DVI signal.DETAILS ON MY SETUP:HDMI SWITCH INPUT 1: HDMI output from Windows 10 PC. with Geforce graphics card. (The graphics card DVI output goes to a 2nd monitor)HDMI SWITCH INPUT 2: Xbox OneHDMI SWITCH INPUT 3: PS4 SlimHDMI SWITCH OUTPUT: Goes to DVI input of monitor via an HDMI to DVI adapter cable. Male output plugs to male HDMI end of a Bluerigger HDMI to DVI adapter cable. (Connection made via a HDMI cable extender coupler)AUDIO: HDMI carries audio. If all your devices use HDMI you shouldn't need to know any of this. Since I'm using ancient monitors they don't have HDMI inputs. They're DVI. DVI signals are video only. That means you need to find a way to handle audio if you've converted HDMI to DVI like I have. Details are provided below.I know I'm not the only one out there looking to use this device with older equipment. Figuring out what will work with your setup can be tough. I'm including details on my setup in the hopes that it will help someone else in the future.I've got a dual monitor PC running Windows 10. I also have an original Xbox One and a PS4 slim hooked up to one of the PC monitors. Sounds fancy right? Wrong. This is an aging frankenstein PC workstation. Nothing fancy here. We're talking a hodgepodge of budget legacy equipment. With crazy cheap upgrades she just keeps going for daily work tasks so I keep using it.The graphics card on this PC has one HDMI output, 1 DVI output and 1 VGA output. I don't use the VGA output but do use the HDMI and DVI outputs to give me my dual screen setup in Windows. The monitors themselves are going on 13 years old so they only have VGA and DVI inputs. That means I need to convert the HDMI signal from the graphics card to DVI for the monitor. That in itself can cause issues with some HDMI switches. No problems with this one. I plug the graphics card output from the PC to input port one on this HDMI switch. The Xbox One and PS4 HDMI outputs are plugged into ports 2 and 3.The integrated HDMI cable on this switch is obviously the output. I had an existing HDMI to DVI cable I was using with the previous older HDMI switch. I'm using the "BlueRigger DVI to HDMI Cable" sold here on Amazon. It has a male HDMI end and a Male DVI end. These are high quality cables that have been working well for years so I didn't want to replace it. I was left with the dilemma of having a male HDMI cable end for the output on this switch and a Male HDMI cable end on my HDMI to DVI cable going to my monitor. I solved this by purchasing a cheap HDMI cable coupler or extender. It's just a coupler with two female HDMI ports, one on each end. They're normally used to connect together two HDMI cables to make one long cable run. For me it worked perfectly to connect the male end of this HDMI switch output with the male end of my HDMI to DVI cable. I believe there are versions of this switch that don't have the integrated output cable. They simply have a female HDMI port for the output. In hindsight purchasing this version would have been smarter for my situation but the HDMI couplers only cost a few bucks. The short version of my long story is everything with this switch works as expected. When I select input one on this HDMI switch I get my normal dual monitor setup with the desktop extended over both displays. When it's time to fire up the Xbox or PS4 I just switch inputs on the HDMI switch. The PC then automatically switches to a single monitor desktop and I can keep work, a web browser etc. open on the other monitor.I'm happy because the much more expensive HDMI switch I had previously just unexpectedly quit working after a Windows 10 update. No amount of reinstalling, updating display drivers etc. worked to get it going again. I'm not 100% sure the Windows update killed it but I tried everything under the sun short of a fresh install. To further complicate things another fancier HDMI switch I had on hand (one of the 4K, Picture in Picture switches with remote) wouldn't work either. If you've made it this far you're probably wondering how I have audio. Good catch. If you're using all HDMI devices and HDMI connections no worries. Odds are your HDMI cables carry your audio signals for you. I converted HDMI to DVI. DVI signals are video only. That means another hurdle for a cheapskate like me. =) I use the digital optical audio output from the XBOX connected to a digital to analog audio converter box. I use it because I already had one given to me free. I then plug the headset or a set of speakers into the converter. Yes that's another small box that needs a 5V power supply. (I power it from the Xbox USB port) Yes, it is another two cables and yes it's a minor pain in the butt. The good news is it works fine. For the PS4 slim there is no audio output except via HDMI. The cheapest/easiest solution is to plug a headset or speakers into the controller if you don't want to deal with extracting audio from the HDMI signal. While this setup works fine I don't like the added cables and work involved with getting audio. I've ordered and will be trying an HDMI matrix with built in audio extractor. For just under $50 I'm hoping it will eliminate my need for any additional audio convertors. As a bonus I'll get an extra HDMI input and output. Even if the new setup works I'll be hanging on to this switch for use as a backup.
