The steel sprinkler valve key is engineered for turning on and off or adjusting the flow of manual or automatic sprinkler valves which have a flow control mechanism. The prongs of the sprinkler valve key are spaced so that they fit over the handle of the valve and allow you to rotate it clockwise to reduce flow and counterclockwise to increase flow. The handle is both ergonomic and creates a way to hang the key for storage. Plated steel ensures long life of the key in a variety of weather conditions. The sprinkler key is available in 30 in. and 54 in. lengths to handle a variety of valve box depths. For outdoor irrigation use with cold water only.

Horrible. Waist of money!! Tried turning off my sprinkler valve for the winter and the “v” part of the key broke off. Cheap!! Had to go to Home Depot and get another one that is much more sturdy. Which I could select zero stars.

I was so glad to find this here. It is NOT available in local stores. It is not as thick a metal as the shorter ones, but it is strong enough to turn the deeply sunken valve out by the street. Without this, I would have had to hire a contractor to turn on my water sprinkler system.

Instead of getting on my hands and knees and using a flashlight to find the valve, I can now just stand up and insert this 54" sprinkler key right into the proper position and in seconds turn on or off the sprinkler system. Absolutely perfect! A++++
