These were inexpensive and if you need strength, they are great, but I had two problems with them. The first problem is how they are threaded. The thread can only be started on one end, so if you need a single section, for a taller head, it can't be used. Two sections with the hex space in between is your only choice and the rest of the riser is scrap. The other problem is that I needed a pvc cutter to cut the sections. Other brands I've used cut with a utility knife and each individual section was usable from either end.

These are for 3/4” base on big geared sprinkler heads just cut to the height you need with the head on top

I was sorry to have to return them, though we needed both ends to be 3/4". The seller was responsive to returning my item which was appreciated. I also had lots of smiles when opening my package, loved the stickers and thoughtfulness.

Plastic composition is weaker than others.Be very careful when trying to thread a sprinkler on this.It will strip easy.You get what you pay for.
