They first pair I bought still works as advertised. Just getting another pair for my other rooms. Lights up the master bedroom more then enough. I have them put of sight. So they're not direct and they still light up the whole place like it's daytime. And the other one is in my living rooms/dining room; that lights up the living room side. Highly recommend you do not put them out of sight especially if you have babies.

In the Amazon photo you cannot see the fact that at the end of each spool of LED tape, there are two wires with no connector. If you are expecting to be able to daisy chain the two spools together, it won't work without additional parts. Note that the dimmer switch has two output plugs - so you can only run each spool of LED tape off of one of the connectors - meaning that you get 2 strands almost 20' long coming from the switch. You can't make a single run of 39+ feet.Other than that, the LEDs are bright, the dimmer switch works as expected and overall it is a decent value for your $.

The lighting is perfect for my dark dining room with 10 feet walls. I chose this product because of the 65 foot length and because it gives me natural” light, which is not cool white or warm white. Since you get two rolls of 35 feet each, it was tricky to have both of the reels to match exactly ar their ends BC you can only peel the backing off from the powered end If you try from the unpowered end, the adhesive comes off A friend hung them up and that’s what he told me Maybe he was wrong I might mention the strip does not go around 90° corners very well and it’s possible that you might see it unless you have some moulding to hide the bendEven though the moulding was cleaned before applying the light strip , the weight of the power cord and dimmer pulled half the strip off in both directions I did not use the clamps included bc my walls are plaster and I didn’t want to drill into the plaster or the the trim I rehung the strip , bought a 6 foot extension cable for power , and tacked down the strip near the corners and where the weight of the power came down the wall with little brad nails It worked ! All is good PLUS I like the dimmer No WIFI remote - no need for one more wireless product using my WiFi LOL

Alright - pros/cons and warm vs cool!We originally ordered the cool and they are BRIGHT! But, very much cool/blue very modern LED looking.Our house is very 'cozy' in decor so we returned them for the warm ones.The warm ones are about half as bright, but still certainly bright!I like that they aren't super yellow (some of the photos made them look so). Definitely a warm/yellow color, but not so much it's ugly.Pros:-Easy to figure out-Work well-Look awesome once up!Cons:Adhesion is not great - especially for glossy paint (basically doesn't stick at ALL). We used an Elmer's craft glue stick and the reinforcements and they stay up well. Just an annoying extra step I would have preferred to avoid 😅All in all I'm very happy with them and love how they look. When I originally pulled them out of the box I was nervous they'd look super tacky in plain sight - but when lit they are beautiful. Even turned off, being up on the ceiling, you can't see the ugly pattern :)
