I’m a little embarrassingly excited about this LED strip light! It arrived in super basic, no-nonsense packaging, which is totally fine with me. I ordered it because I have a pretty large desk area that tends to feel a bit dark, and I thought this would be perfect to place behind my large filing cabinet to add some extra light.Installing it was incredibly easy… it went into place with no hassle at all. I love that it has a power switch, and it adds just the right touch to my space. The light distribution is even, the quality is solid, and for the price, it’s honestly better than I expected. I can definitely see myself ordering a few more strips to use around the house in the future.For what it costs, the quality and ease of application are fantastic… I’m over the moon with this purchase!

This excellent 16-foot COB LED light strip from the SAMSION brand, is a great way to brighten up any of your darker outdoor spaces!I installed this strip on the under side of my rear deck railing which surrounds the deck, using the included clips and screws, and the smooth warm glow really makes a big difference in the overall ambiance at night. The strip itself is waterproof, but remember that the power cord, switch and plug is not, so they will need additional protection from the elements, which I provided by wrapping it in plastic and secured it with waterproof tape (not included).Overall, it's an great way to illuminate any of your outdoor areas, whether it's a deck, patio or balcony!5 STARS!!!

COB LED lights are truly the kings of lighting. I’ve worked with LED lights for a long time, and the common issue is the visibility of the individual light dots in other types of LEDs. COB LEDs, however, offer a continuous string of light. With their higher density in a smaller area, they are ideal for applications where space is limited, such as downlights or spotlights.These LEDs also have better thermal management due to their single substrate design, which allows for more efficient heat dissipation, leading to a longer lifespan and consistent performance. The greatest advantage of COB LEDs is their uniform light output. They provide a more consistent and brighter light, which is beneficial for many lighting applications. Additionally, their light intensity is outstanding, and the beam quality is superior compared to older LED technologies.I was delighted to purchase this baby for my lighting project!

These rope lights are so bright, I couldn't have predicted it when first plugging them in. I installed them under my bed frame to give the illusion of a floating bed. These lights were simple to install, as they are very flexible and soft to the touch. If you need, they come with clips as well. I especially like the 'neon' look, each LED flows perfectly from one to the next creating a consistent, unbroken light that has to be seen to believe! The built in switch is a nice touch as well.I found these do get a little hotter than one would expect from an LED, not *too* hot that they could burn or singe, but warm. Overall, I believe these would work best in a well ventilated area, but I hardly believe it could become a hazard... but I could see them indirectly heating a small space.Overall, if you are looking for a nice, bright, warm-toned, neon effect LED strip... check this one out. It doesn't disappoint.

This is an awesome light strip. You can't see individual LED's when when light up. The strip is very well made and comes with an off/on switch, a short power cable and 10 clips. Although I had read it was bright I was surprised by how bright it was when I installed it. I can't use it for background lighting for my deck due to the brightness and there is no dimmer function. I scoured the product description to see it it can be used with an external dimmer or smart plug dimmer function, but couldn't a statement one way or the other. One of the reviews said that it can't be used with a dimmer but I wasn't able to verify. Nothing on the product or in the box specifies. It's a great product where you need very bright lighting. The package says it uses about 10 watts per meter. I measured my 5 M string and it had a draw of 46 watts. Pretty good considering the amount of light produced.I tried mounting it under my deck railing but the strip doesn't have an adhesive backing and 10 clips aren't nearly enough to hold it in place without it sagging. It was also super bright and hard on the eyes when looking directly at it. It does get mildly warm after being on for some time. The string itself is waterproof except for the ends and the switch. If installing outside you'll need to put the switch in an waterproof enclosure. It doesn't indicate whether its UV protected or UL/CSA approved for use in NA. It's a great product for the right application.

This is a great light strip. Very easy to mount and the light is nice and bright. It looks great and considering how much length you get, it's a good value for the price.

I plugged this in to test and it immediately started giving me a headache. I did a slo-mo video on my iPhone and saw the aggressive flicker.The product quality is fine, but the visual performance is very poor.

Previously, I bought a 100 foot version of this and like it a lot. It’s sleek and dimmable.So I ordered another one for another area. AFTER installing it, however, I discovered that several feet of it did not light-up. This means the lighting is not continuous, that is, it has a black stretch.That’s unacceptable but I don’t want to go to all the effort of UNinstalling it to return it. So I’m living with a substandard product.
