Looked great when was working, died after one year.This type of heavy duty strip is naturally hard to install, so kind of disappointing that it lasted only one year.

We used this light along the inside of a new gazebo. Used the clips that hold the rope lights and used Alein Tape to hold them rather than drilling holes and using screws. The light provides beautiful ambiance with the many color options. The ability to cut extra length is great.Much better than having hanging light bulbs. The RTF controller has greater range than Bluetooth. Highly recommend.

I purchased this product to light up my dock. Compared it to products like "Pimp My Dock", etc. This is less than 1/3 the price. Super easy installation. The screws were really small and had to fit in a tight space on the provided brackets, but the trick was to pre-install the screws into the brackets and then take them under the dock. The screws are slightly bigger in diameter than the holes in the brackets, so they stayed and no threat of losing them in the water! :-) Because of the sturdiness of the product, you really only needed brackets every 2-3 feet. Good tight fit. We were able to use the remote from our house, which is right at 300 feet from the dock. That makes it nice that we don't have to walk all the way out there to turn them on or find a safe weatherproof place to put the remote. The colors are bright. My wife and I are fighting over which color to use! (of course I'm right!) Finding an LED rope light that was long enough for our dock was hard. This was the ONLY product long enough - and if it was too long, it could have been cut to fit. Buy it!

We used the neon rope lights to backlight our TV and they worked out great! It's very difficult to find warm LEDs that have the even glow look. These can go to 2700K and they are bright! We attached the plug into a Kasa dimmer plug and they dim like a dream!Minus 1 star because the clips provided to mount them are not good enough when you're hanging them against gravity. However, because the warm lighting and perfect in every other way, I used a silicon adhesive to glue them into their clips and it looks perfect.
