Barbell exercises are a form of resistance training. Resistance training is using your muscles to move resistance, usually weights. Examples of barbell resistance training are squats, bench press, barbell row, shoulder press, deadlifts and curls to name a few. Barbells allow you to move more weight than you could with a dumbbell because you have two hands on a fixed object. This makes it safer to learn new exercises.

Un producto genial a un precio imbatible. Es una barra olímpica real, no lo que anuncian por ahí como olímpico.

Very disappointed in amazon, picture states the sleeve size to hold the weights is 13.1 inches(33cm), but its less than 11.5 inches (29cm) , so I will probably have to return this, I could still use it for other exercises, but I will still need another bar that's the correct size so this was a waste of money. Absolute waste of everybody's time because the description is wrong

A well made barbell. 6ft version. 35 lbs probably. Fits my home gym.

Ok value for money. Works fine however the paint on the barbell flakes off easily in some areas. There is some rust where the paint had flaked off.

I bought this for my 16 year old daughter to strength train for softball. This 5’ bar is 24 lbs. It accepts the Olympic sized weights I already have, which is critical. The overall quality is very good and for the price it is extraordinary. Is it as good as a $200 Rogue fitness bar? Of course not, but at $40 delivered, it’s a steal. It arrived with a sticky residue on one of the collars which came off with one swipe of nail polish remover. If you’re looking for a lighter weight bar that accepts Olympic weights you cannot find a better value.

I ordered black, but got silver even though I selected and paid for black. Oh, well, don't expect to get the color you choose. But the bar is great. Love it. It's 45lb - despite the description saying 5lb, but I suspected that was the case anyway. How could a 7ft bar that holds 700lbs weigh only 5lbs?

I bought this bar because it was the cheapest 7' 2" 45 pound Olympic barbell available (and I actually bought used so it was even cheaper). My needs are simple. I work out either alone or with my kids. It's not often we need more than 300 lb loaded and almost never load 400.The barbell we'd been using was the cheap one I've had for a couple of decades that came with a 300 lb CAP set. Over the years, it's developed a bit of bend, but it remained sturdy enough that I wasn't worried about it breaking, and I'm not trying to break records. I really just wanted a second bar since my kids work out with me more now and it's convenient to have multiple bars.I would describe this bar as being neither better nor worse than my old CAP bar (outside of being relatively new with no bend). The grip is a bit thicker, but otherwise, they're virtually indistinguishable.I think this was a great value for the money. I'm actually thinking a third bar might be useful, and if I decide to get one, I'll almost assuredly buy another one of these unless there's a cheaper one.

During COVID-19 period the price of this product is substantial higher than before 2020. I bought this bar at reasonable price include free shipping from Amazon. It fits all my weight plates (dozen from 2 different manufacturers). The two rotatable ends make a bit more noise compared the much more solid and expensive at my fitness club, otherwise it could get five stars rating. At the paid price, I am quite happy having this bar for home.

I built a home gym with a rack and do all the big bodybuilding compound movements (bench press, squat, deadlift, etc.). I am recovering from an injury so I can't lift heavy yet with this, but it has held 45 plates without issue so far.I believe it can hold around the 700lb states weight capacity. This is solid. Not quite the same quality as commercial gyms, but absolutely not junk and perfectly usable. The knurling I would call mild, a 2-3 on a scale of 10, with 10 being the most aggressive knurling you've ever felt. If this is important to you, pass on this bar. It's there, but absolutely not even moderate in aggressiveness.Mine had 3 minor damage spots from shipping, see pics. This has not rusted (I do apply oil biweekly) at all after a few months of consistent garage use and storage.Highly recommend for the price unless you need moderate or aggressive knurling.

Wow, when comparing this to a bar that costs over $200, there is not much difference. I wish the knurl was more aggressive, but for the price you can't beat it. If you are using this for bench presses, squats and rows, this is every bit as good as any athlete needs. If you are doing lifting with a lot of dynamic throwing motions, you might prefer a bar with more flex, and maybe fancier bearings. For the vast majority of athletes doing strength training, this bar is everything you need in a bar. 7' long, 45lbs, for use with 2" Olympic plates.

Just received the bar. Only had a chance to use it once. Seems to be good quality . I like the black color bar. I would n`t hesitate to buy another.

First thing I did upon arrival was take a picture of the shipping tube, which by the time it arrived was mostly uncoiled, and the bar was exposed. After opening it the bar was ok. It is stable and well built, but I'd have chosen the chrome coated version, but for the price this is a great deal.
