I like trying out different brands of gym equipment, especially in a market that’s flooded with so many options. This barbell arrived well-packaged, but I did notice a small dent on the end of the sleeve. While it’s minor and doesn’t affect the functionality, it did raise some concerns about the build quality. In my second picture, you can see how thin the metal is on the sleeve. If you happen to drop this on one of the ends, it’s likely to dent, and while that doesn’t impact its performance right now, it does make me question its long-term durability.Given that, I would recommend avoiding this barbell, as well as others on the market with similarly thin sleeves. The price isn’t much lower than higher-quality brands, so if you’re serious about getting equipment that will last a lifetime, I would suggest spending a little more for a more durable option. Ultimately, while this barbell may serve its purpose in the short term, I think you’ll get better long-term value from investing in something built to withstand more wear and tear.

I was surprised at the heft of this bar when it was delivered. Our weight plates slide on the bar easily, and while the included spring clamps do the job, they are pretty basic. The bearings are a bit rough, but those might wear in a bit with use. The bar is a good length and the grip spacing is pretty standard. As others have mentioned, the knurling on the bar is a little light, but that is a personal preference.

I exactly as expected. Seems like good quality and is sized as expected! Is a plain bar with no grips so user may prefer to use with gloves

This bar has a solid hand-feel and is good for home-gym needs. I haven't tested the weight capacity to the limit but this has handled two 45's no problem and feels sturdy.

The Olympic EZ Curl Barbell Bar is a great piece of equipment for strength training. It’s 48 inches long, compact and fits 2-inch weight plates, making it suitable for squats, hip thrusts, bench press, and weightlifting. The grip is comfortable, and it comes with 2 spring collars for added security. The bar is short, which makes it easy to store and handle.

This curl bar is very well built and heavy, as you would expect. It is nice that it comes with two spring collars, since I didn't already have them. I have complete confidence that this curl bar will last a long time.

Great general EZ bar for casual use.Sleeves have ridges allowing for a solid clip squeeze. Nice bearings allow for rotation of the plates without much resistance.Metal feels solid, no unusual imbalances or 'hollow' feeling in portions.Paint is more durable than some of my other bars but will inevitably wear, especially on the sleeves.Knurling is a little dull, but it's subjective. It appears the paint coating really softens the knurling but it's still a solid grip texture.Good all-around bar to have. Tris, curls, high pulls, rows and everything else I usually do with commercial bars feels equally good with this bar.

Barbell 48” Vine review. Brand: LEKÄRO. Full disclosure: I’ve been exercising with Bodylastics bands for many years and haven’t had or used a barbell for decades. My son scoffs at bands, as if they aren’t the real thing. So I am outfitting my location to have something more than bands.This LEKÄRO seems to this reviewer to be following the Olympic EZ Curl standard 48” bar for 2” weights. Stated grip size of 0.98”. You got a fairly standard bend, you got a fairly standard standard texture, and you got 2 simple spring collars and could probably outfit with better collars. The photos attempt to show the measurements of the space for weights, grips, texture and weight. If Amazon allows what probably looks like the same thing to them! Also shows a tad more than the stated 13.66 lbs for the bar.As for a star rating, it looks like the texture does vary bar to bar. (As due the customers, smirk) There is also some variation in the bends, bar to bar. (Not touching that one :) Hopefully the listings and these photos help you decide if this one is right for you and not a subject to star ratings.What is left is price comparisons, surface comparisons and collars it seems. At a higher listing price today, black instead of chrome, seemingly in the lower half in spring collars and finally just a bit lower in the total weight capacity with 350 lbs.
