Most breeds of dogs are genetically predisposed to developing many different kinds of ocular diseases, such as retinal disease, glaucoma, and cataracts. Additionally, any dog can develop ocular disorders as a result of diet, age, and/or environment. The eye is constantly bombarded by light, creating oxidative stress. This in turn can trigger a toxic soup of free radicals which damages cells of the eye. Ocu-GLO Rx Canine Vision Supplement was formulated by veterinary ophthalmologists and a compounding pharmacist to help combat the damaging effects of free radicals at the cellular level. It also helps support ocular health in normal dogs, which is especially important for any dog at risk for developing ocular disease. Ocu-GLO Rx provides a balanced blend of 12 natural antioxidants derived from the purest and highest quality ingredients available. Because Ocu-GLO Rx is administered orally, it may also help support healthy brain function, which is especially important in geriatric dogs with Canine Cognitive Dysfunction. It also supports immune health, joint health, and also skin and coat health Model Name FBA_OCUG Color Medium to Large Dogs (11+ lbs) Size 90 Gelcaps Number of Items 1 Manufacturer Animal Necessity Breed Recommendation Medium Breeds

Scientifically-backed and formulated to protect your pet’s eyes, Ocu-GLO is the only eye supplement for dogs of its kind on the market.

Ocu-GLO Gelcaps, Powder Blend and Chewables contain seventeen key ingredients, including powerful antioxidants, to help support canine eyesight daily. Each carefully-selected ingredient has been formulated and concentrated to levels specific to the needs of dogs for optimal eye health.

Antioxidants have been shown to help neutralize free radicals, or damaging molecules formed by aging, inflammation, exposure to pollution and other environmental factors. Dogs’ eyes are also especially susceptible to free radical damage from sunlight. As dogs age, their levels of antioxidants drop, and valid research indicates that pet eyesight benefits from antioxidant supplements.

Don’t ignore eye and vision problems; give your dog veterinarian-recommended Ocu-GLO before vision issues arise to support eye health through all stages of life.

Pricy but worth it to ensure Chicken keeps her eyes strong for as long as possible post diabetes diagnosis! It's been several months with no apparent cloudiness or degradation in her vision

My dog has been on this for five years and while it can’t stop her eyes from regressing it did stop her eyesight from getting worse. She is now 11 and I wish my old vets had recommended it. She sees the eye vet twice a year and they joke she should be the model for a campaign… given how much it’s stopped her from going blind. Thank you to ocuglow.

Can't tell whether it is helping her eyes but from the very first pill she took her energy and stamina has soared. I think they are worth it and will continue to give them to our dog

My Lab has a sight issue that has stumped our vet and a K9 Ophthalmologist. The Ocu-GLO has had helped preserve her vision though not restore it. That’s a plus considering the alternative.

My Golden Retriever exhibited a problematic vision problem at age 2…A vet specializing in canine ophthalmology recommended OcuGlo…Almost 9 now, his vision shows no sign of diminishment. One caveat…make sure it’s swallowed whole; inside the capsule, the substance is red and will stain

Are you serious, is this product even real??? I mistakenly bought it instead of the powder capsules, and it is IMPOSSIBLE to feed my dog with it. I tried to make her swallow the huge capsule, and she could not, the capsule exploded, and her mouth was full of stains, it was Impossible! then I opened the content with a needle and it stained everywhere, and more than half of the content stayed inside the capsule, I mean, seriously, this is super expensive, and the company does not allow me to return it; I demand an explanation and the return of my money!

USPS delivery. Someone noticed that pills were being shipped. Package cut open. Realized pills for dogs and did not take. No notification from amazon that pills delivered. Got two bottles of frozen gel cap pills. 23 degrees in Michigan.

Good product at good price but short dates. Maybe that's why price is competitive?

ho già usato il prodotto con buoni risultati, ora aspetto la consegna dell'ultimo ordine, quello che posso dire è che l'aumento del prezzo è ingiustificabile e vergognoso.

I began using Ocu-Glo for my dog when he was diagnosed with diabetes, as most diabetic dogs become blind from diabetes within the first 9 months after diagnosis (something like 80%). Ocu-Glo is the only eye supplement product - or any product, actually - that has proven, clinical results, showing that it can delay the development of diabetic cataracts in diabetic dogs. In the small clinical study, two dogs even regained sight in their newly cataractous eyes, which is unheard of, and I wouldn't believe, without the study. I highly encourage anyone with a diabetic dog to read the article about the clinical study in the International Journal of Diabetes and Research, which you can find by searching online for the name of that journal, plus "Ocu Glo" and "diabetic dog." It is fascinating but also easy to read, and only about 5 pages long.Yes, Ocu-Glo capsules are a bit pricy, but they have quality ingredients in them, and, again, they're the only product with proven results showing they work. My dog has recently gone blind from diabetes, but he kept his vision for the first year after he was diagnosed - meaning he didn't develop diabetic cataracts during the time frame that around 80% or more of diabetic dogs do - and I credit that to using this product. The capsules are a bit large, which may be a problem if your dog hates taking pills. My dog is a small dog, but will gulp down anything if wrapped in chicken breast or a Pill Pocket, so he had no problem taking OcuGlo capsules. I am including a photograph showing the OcuGlo capsule (the brownish capsule), compared to an Advil pain reliever (the blue capsule), to give an idea of size.
