I had an elderly dog that suffered from loose stool, no matter what she ate. This helped her tremendously! I recommend it!

This clay has done wonders for our pooch. It doesn’t have any oder or taste, as far as we can tell, for our fussy little fella to turn his nose up at. Goes straight into the food, using the measuring spoon inside the container. We did follow our Vets recommendation on dosage. It helps bind our pet’s bms from being so loose (diarrhea). It’s a little pricey but our Vet was charging more when purchasing this same product at the office. The health benefits outweigh the cost for us.

My dog has the most sensitive stomach a dog can freaking have and is constantly having diarrhea. It’s been such a battle trying to keep his tummy under control, and I’ve tried sooooo many things. A friend recommended this so I asked my vet who said go for it, it’s an effective & good product. They weren’t kidding! He will still get soft stool here & there but so far, I haven’t had to deal w doggy diarrhea! It’s pretty small and pricey if your dog is 100+lbs but I’d say it is worth it. It comes w a tiny scoop and says 1 scoop per 10lbs to treat or 1scoop per 25lbs for maintenance.

It’s always been an issue for me finding a product that will help my dogs when they have occasional intestinal distress, so the words “Anti Diarrhea” in the product description drew me to look further into it. I like that it only has 1 ingredient, “ a montmorillonite class of clay, and that it’s “100% All Natural Clay.” I’d never heard of natural clay for gut health, nevertheless I thought it was worth a try. The instructions say for active diarrhea give “1 scoop per 10 lbs. of body weight twice daily, and “for maintenance, 1 scoop per 25 lbs. is recommended.” It doesn’t say once or twice a day for maintenance, so I decided to try once daily. I immediately noticed the next day that my dogs’ bowel movements were very firm, but not so much that they had trouble going. I have continued to add 1 scoop per 25 lbs. of their weight to their food once daily. They do not seem to notice any taste or smell, because they eat their food as they normally would. The clay powder is very fine and mixes in with their wet/dry combo of food and kind of dissolves in it. (I don’t know that it would actually dissolve in a kibble only diet, but I do think it would coat the kibble. Adding a wee bit of water to the kibble and clay, and stirring well, would probably be enough to dissolve the clay and coat the kibble). It so happened that 2 of my dogs experienced some diarrhea and obvious tummy discomfort (cramps) last week (they go to the dog park daily and sometimes eat something they shouldn't), so I right away started adding 1 scoop per 10 lbs. of their weight to their food twice a day. By the next day they were back to normal. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised at how fast the Clay worked.I have tried a liquid ant-diarrheal specifically for dogs in the past, and it worked … when I could get it in them. I had to use a syringe, and a lot of the liquid ended up on their beards, because the amount I had to give wasn’t just 1 or 2 mls. lol. A lot of struggling and spitting. Not an ideal solution. And I should add that more than 1 or 2 doses was needed to clear up the intestinal distress with this liquid. This Rx Vitamins Rx Edible Clay Powder is really an amazing product for my dogs’ gut health, because it works, and I have no problem getting it IN them. Because it’s all natural, I can give it to them with peace of mind. I am so impressed, and like it so much, that I have added it to my Amazon Subscribe and Save. The jar is small, 3.52 ounces, and at the current price point, the cost is if $7.41 per ounce. However, as you can see in my picture, the scoop is small and shallow, so a lot is not needed, even if you have multiple dogs that are large or small. For reference, I received my 1st jar on July 2, and started giving the maintenance dose to my 3 small dogs on July 3. They are all under 25 lbs. so they each get 1 scoop once daily. Then for 2 meals, I had to increase the dose to 2 scoops when 2 of them had the intestinal issue. Today is August 15, and I have probably 2 maintenance doses left for each of them. I think lasting a month and a half is reasonable for the price of the Clay.I will continue to give this RX Clay to my three 13 y/o dogs for as long as they are with me. Because they are seniors, I want to do all I can to help them age comfortably, and the RX clay has helped their gut health a lot. I highly recommend this product and give it 5 Stars!

Purchased twice. The first jar was a life saver! My cat has diarrhea and Rx Clay helped to firm up her stool. I recently ran out and purchased again. This time kitty doesn’t like the taste and her diarrhea is not improving. Very disappointing!

Great for any dog who has tummy issues, at anytime.Easy to use and you only need very very little so it goes a long way and works straight away, unlike other products that can be messy to get them to take or take hours or days to work. Must have for my German Shepherd!!!

Works quickly! Lower price than at the vet. Shipping was delayed, though, so I tried other remedies until this arrived. Now I plan to keep a bottle in stock, just in case!

My cat has IBD and suffers from frequent bouts of diarrhea. It only took one dose of this product to firm things up. I would highly recommend.

Does this ever work - after only one day of use. My pup has had diarrhea problems for 45 days. Tests, tests, and more tests at the vet including an x-ray and antibiotics. Nothing worked until I gave my pup the Rx Clay. It may not work on every dog, but I am very grateful it worked on mine.
