I can't speak to the effectiveness of this product because I could not get my cat to ingest it. The smell is extremely strong and he would not go near food with it mixed in. I also tried putting it into smaller gel cap and giving him those, but he wouldn't accept that either. The amount of stinky powder in the pills is huge. If it was a smaller dose, that would help, but my cat won't touch any amount. If you can get a sample of this before you buy it, I would recommend that. Otherwise, you will waste your money like I did.

This was ok at first besides the black stool from the iron ingredient. After a year this gave my dog liquid diarrhea. And she lost weight which is not good hot kidney Disease. I’m now using calcium carbonate which is much better.

My cat did not like the taste of this at all. The smell was a little weird. I had to purchase another brand of phosphate binder which has worked out much better as my cat likes the taste and the smell isn't too strong.

My dog is 17 years old. My vet suggested this and it has made a huge difference in my dog.

Easy to open capsules to sprinkle on food. My dog didn’t mind the flavor

Tried another product and cat wouldn't eat the food. This one is odorless and tasteless. Recommend.

I have to pop open these capsules and sprinkle it on my cat's food. She was recently diagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease and we're using this while we're transitioning to her new diet. She's eating it just fine, although she's always been a hungry girl. We'll probably keep adding a little bit to her diet from now on, but it depends on her vet's instructions.
