This is great for eliminating bugs. I use it in the corners of my rooms to kill insects. I haven't seen a bug in a very longtime. This really works for spiders, roaches, and crawling Insect. IT last forever too. You can also put it in your window sill to keep bug out.

I really loved that this product is safe to use on cats, dogs, horses and other pets. Many medications we buy to put on our animals are not always safe for them. However this product is safe for their breathing and for killing fleas. I was worried about the long term affect on them. Very pleased with this product and give it 5 stars.,

I have purchased Harris Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth for Pets several times. I absolutely love the stuff. It is great for keeping my pets worm free. I add it to their food every so often, and it does the trick. I have also used it externally on my cats coats to help get rid of fleas. It is well worth the purchase.

I bought this to use with my diatomaceous earth food grade powder. It's a little tricky to use. Diatomaceous earth states to just powder a thin layer. I Read some where, not sure if on DE website or a review or some other website, that insects will likely avoid going over it if it's laid on thick. Well the problem with this is when you squeeze this spreader big burst come out. What I've learned to do is just fill it about an inch or two and shake it turn it upside down a squeeze lightly. This way you can get a thin layer most of the time. I still haven't perfected it yet but works this way for me most of the time. When necessary, I'll use my mouth and a regular straw to blow and spread the big burst that came out of this spreader/blower. Works well just need to learn how to maneuver it. I sometimes mix a little boric acid with it to spread between counters and stove and counter and refrigerator as a preventive measure. I also use it around the outside foundation of my house to keep spider's and any other critters that may want to come inside my house especially during the summer time. I hate bugs and will use preventive measures to keep them away. I've been using for years and it's worked for me. Also if you go to the diatomaceous earth website you'll see it other benefits too. Using this as a Spider critter/Bug preventive has worked for me.

This seems to be working great. I had some fleas so spread this on my cat and around my house. My cat has been itching a lot less.

I was living in a literal hell when my home was infested with earwigs this summer. For reference i live in the heart of the Midwest where it's very humid in the summer time. I also have a giant walnut tree that's dying in my back yard and this little pincher bugs made their way into my home looking for somewhere cool to hide. At night time, i would see them come out from under the baseboards of my home, climb my walls, crawl on me as i slept& i could no longer sleep in my home. The exterminator came and sprayed but almost a week later I was still seeing so many of them. Did some research on this stuff and decided to take matters into my own hands. I dusted all the baseboards of my home and around the outside of it as well and within 3 days, all of the earwigs have gone!!! I haven't seen a single one in a full 24 hours now and I am beyond impressed!! Yes it's a little messy.. but it's better than having pincher bugs in bed with you at night! It's also safe for pets and kids to be around! Thank god for this stuff ! It was a life saver! Finally back in my home and back sleeping in my own bed now thanks to this stuff!!

A family member had a flea infestation. I wanted to find a product that was safe for cats & dogs. I used gloves & wore a mask while spreading the DE all over the carpet. The tiny application spoon was not useful. I used a paper cup and dipped into the bag of powder. I kept the powder on affected areas for 48 hrs. The room that was vacuumed in four hours did not have success at killing fleas. It is a pesty task that works, if you are patient. I wish the powder killed eggs and larvae. It only kills adults. I have not experimented with putting water in the powder but I am going to experiment with that. When water is added, it can be sprayed in hard to reach areas. Once the powder dries, it is effective again.
