First off... Please be careful when cleaning the slicing disc. I was washing with a soapy paper towel and I was being gentle and careful and the blade was adjusted to the smallest setting, which is nearly even with the disc surface, and I cut my finger. I went and got a bandage and returned and did the same thing to another finger and I thought I was being diligent. I would suggest using the dishwasher to clean it... but still be careful handling it while putting it in and taking it out.That being said, this thing is so well thought out. There is a gasket on the lid which helps with a good deal for t liquid s. There is a button that pops up and locks the lid into place and keeps it secure. You have to push it to release the locked lid. There are substantial suction cups as feet that keep this thing securely on the counter while working with it.Last night was the first time I used it after buying it about 2 months ago. I was making French onion soup and needed to slice 18 onions. I cut the onions down with a knife to make each wedge a size that would fit through the feeder shoot. All I had to do with almost all of them was just drop it in. That blade spun so fast and it I swear it sliced each wedge in less than 2 second. Like I was putting it through a wood chipper! I wish I had done a video so I could show how impressively fast it was. When the bowl met its capacity, the unit turned off. I think there must be something that triggers it to stop when the items in the main container push the disc up slightly. It never over filled. It always turned off immediately when reaching the disc.Even though this is made of plastic material, it is heavy duty. It looks like glass. It is much nicer quality than the one I had replaced it with. That ones plastic parts broke off of and made it inoperable. The Ninja works so incredibly well. It cuts prep time of slicing and shredding something down to nothing. I spent more time preparing the onions to be sliced. It's noise level is minimal. The thing has a higher pitch sound than the one I used to have. I believe the rate it spins at is so much faster than anything you can buy for home use. I feel like I'm using an industrial processor. As I said Very Impressive!

This unit is fantastic. I needed a larger, more powerful unit to chop up food for our dog and this unit is it. Many great features ie, chop and forget with suction cups to keep unit in place, secure locking feature, very powerful. Easy to clean. right size for us -9 cups.

Works well, decent price. Would buy again but I feel I must reiterate that the metal blades are pure evil, don't put your hands anywhere near them. Think I'm overreacting? I am not. Soak them maybe in a bowl to clean them. If after soaking there is a little dough or what-not in a crevice either soak it again or learn to live with it. KEEP YOUR HANDS AWAY FROM THE BLADES! I can not stress this enough. The temptation is real but so is the blood. Have a nice day.

This is a fantastic product. Super simple to use. We have a small catering company and this unit is more than up to the task. The slicing disc is adjustable down to wafer thin making slicing celery or cucumbers a breeze. The chopping function pulses it automatically making for a smooth chop on meats and vegetables. The shredding blade makes short work of cheeses. Seems extremely well built for being fairly light in weight. Got the model with the caddy to store the disks and blades. Highly recommend doing that. No buyers remorse here.

I have a ninja 3 cup chopper/mini food processor that I’ve used for YEARS and it still works perfectly. But I needed something larger. I was nervous because I bought the ninja smoothie bullet type blender a few years back, and while it works well it is painfully loud. This one is NOT, it’s like a whisper it’s so quiet. It cuts evenly no matter how much I put in, super clear directions. Love that I can pop it in the dishwasher. I have the base on the counter next to my air fryer tucked under a little hideaway shelf. Easy to pull out, use and push back. The suction cups on the base to keep it sturdy or surprisingly powerful! Very nice touch. So many brands seem to have lost their credibility and have lost my trust. But, Ninja has not, I completely trust their products to be quality, sturdy, easy to use and to last for years and years no matter if it’s a small or large model.

I love this food processor! It’s powerful and versatile, making tasks like chopping, slicing, and pureeing so easy. I made curried carrot soup with it, and the results were amazing.Assembly is easy...here are the steps:Place the base on a flat, stable surface.Insert the processor bowl onto the base, ensuring it clicks securely into place.Select the blade or accessory you need (chopping, slicing, or dough blade) and place it inside the bowl.Attach the lid by aligning it with the bowl, then twist to lock it securely.Insert the food chute and pusher if slicing or shredding.Plug it in, select the desired function, and you're ready to go.Cleanup is easy, and the 9-cup capacity is perfect for large or small batches. Highly recommend it for any home cook!
