Nilight has the best stuff, this pintle hitch is no exception. Made to work with an adjustable base, I just got a non-adjustable, straight base for extra strength as half of everything i'll be doing with it will be pulling stuck cars/trucks, or anything else that needs a big 4wd truck pulling on it. pretty sure i'd break the truck before the hitch. I forget what it's (2" ball) rated at but it's well beyond what my truck will do. Now I don't need to worry about the rope coming off before I even start pulling. can't count the times that's happen. Just flip the latch and nothing's coming loose till you open it.

The product was as pictured and described by the seller. It came quickly and was undamaged. The hook mount was well-made and is very durable. It was easy to install and works great. It's not hollow like other ones that you get; this one is made from one piece of heavy metal. The price is fantastic for the quality product that you get. Recommended.

Easy to install and setup, you can adjust the height which makes it a great hitch to have in your storage box. Being able to adjust the hitch to a low tow or a high tow makes it versatile for any vehicle to use and tow almost any trailer. Overall a great product and good material used. Great buy for the price.

I love towing accessories. I rarely tow, but having the capability is important. There are times when you just can't get someone out with a truck, whether a buddy or paid help, so having your own resources is important.This is a nice piece of gear. It's solid. The fit and finish are very smooth, which I appreciate, even in a piece of gear that I'm going to beat up. I own a lot of Nilight towing and recovery products and they're all top-notch, this included. The welds on it aren't perfect, but they're smooth. They included a hitch pin, though I have a locking one I'll likely use instead.Overall this feels like it'll pull what's rated. I haven't hooked it up to a massive trailer to test it out, but I have no concerns with it failing.

This three position pintle hitch mount from Nilight is good, but there are a couple areas that could be improved upon. First the good: the finish is decent and the welds appear to be good. The solid shank is nice, but is likely overkill given how a hitch pin can still sheer off or wallow out the receiver it is mounted to. The bolt holes are perfectly aligned and fit my 15-ton pintle hitch just fine.The areas that need improvement: There was a raised area next to the top right hole, that I luckily did not want to mount my pintle in the uppermost position, as the raised area would have to be ground flat in order to let the pintle mount flush.The other questionable issue is that the rating of the mount is not roll marked (stamped) into the metal anywhere on the mount itself. That means that once the manufacturer decal is worn off, there is no longer a way to tell what the brand or weight rating the mount is anymore. I really wish manufacturers would start permanently stamping ratings on their towing products. It doesn't take much of an imagination to figure out what safety concerns and liability issues this might cause.
