The 17510 series trims are designed for PAR38 or BR40 light bulbs rated up to 150-Watts. Widely considered the most economical choice in recessed lighting, the 17510 Series trims produce a genuine, finished look without compromising the efficiency of the light source. The 17510 Series trims are designed to fit standard 6-inch recessed housings using spring clips (included) for installation. The 17510 trims are available in Bronze, Oil-Rubbed Bronze, and White. The 17510 measures 7.5-inches in diameter with an open aperture of 6-inches. Use with any of NICOR’s 6-inch recessed housings for a perfect match, or use with an existing 6-inch recessed housing. Easy install and great finish. Use needle nose pliers. Attach the spring up inside the opening first. Then pull with pliers to hook on the cover

These are fairly unique. They installed quickly with the 2 springs just like the prior trim rings. My prior rings had yellowed and only allowed for a PAR30. I had picked up some Philips PAR38 cheaply and decided to try and find trim rings that would work. These worked perfectly.Note they are two piece, which is not immediately apparent in the pictures.

There are some products that need to be seen in person. The description does not accurately describe the product. I ended up going across town to the Big Box store to get what I needed.
