Installation：
- Confirm the size of the hole first
- Place the goof ring between the ceiling and the light so that the ceiling light ring trims can cover cracks or areas that need decoration
- Place the recessed can lighting down light into the lamp hole to complete the installation.

These rings are metal and come pre painted white. They are rigid and do a good job of covering up drywall holes that were cut too large. The thickness is about 1mm, so it is very subtle once installed. The inside of the rings were shipping paint, but these areas should be completely obscured by a fixture.

Thinner than i expected, and they worked and fit perfectly. Covered up old pot light holes that were slightly larger than the new LED lights.

My ceiling holes were just a hair too large for my new lights. These did the job with professional looking results. Did take me a few tries to get the correct size to fit our new lights, but once installed, they looked good.
