This round downlight trim ring features a matte white durable plastic body to extend the trim of your recessed lights. These goof rings have an outer diameter of 6.7 inches and an inner diameter of 4.25 inches. They offer a clean look and cover up unsightly ceilings with torn drywall, mis-cuts, and oversized holes made during an upgrade of recessed lighting.
This thin trim light ring sits flush against the ceiling in between the drywall and the recessed light. You can easily replace your old, discolored rings with our high-quality durable plastic ring. I disliked the packaging. It took me longer to unwrap the plastic on each individual ring than it did to install 8 lights with the rings. But beyond that they worked like the should and hid the deformed holes from previous installer.

Great product for covering up holes larger than needed. Perfect when swapping out old recessed can lights for the newer flat disc LEDs that have a smaller footprint.

I recently added lighting to my very dark kitchen. Originally I only had 2 lights, 1 above the sink and 1 above the stove. When removing the existing light we discovered the cut out was larger than the new lights. After a quick search I found these. They were extremely easy to install. Now I need to decide to place these on the others or just leave the one in the center with the extra ring.

Why is each one wrapped in tape?? The cellophane they wrapped it with is sticky and sticks to the rings and its meticulous to take it off. So annoying. Being an electrician is fine except all the materials are crap like this.

I used these to hide damage I discovered while replacing some 6-inch pot lamps with LED inserts. The previous remodeler had overcut the holes and just had a wide bezel on the lamp to cover. The LED inserts I used didn't have that, so this product filled the role. A bit of caulking and no one can tell it wasn't part of the original.
