I have been ordering this for years. I recommend it to anyone who has issues with fungus gnats or unwelcome critters in the soil. Even when the soil looks great, add this, you’ll see an improvement in your plants and garden. Safe to use, good quality, slightly expensive, but performs very well. Delivered quickly too. Don’t forget to use them right away!

We got these and there was a melted ice pack in the package. We treated a small yard over and over and the fleas did not stop at all. When they arrived they were hot and the enclosed ice pack was melted completely. We paid an extra $15 for shipping too!! We called the company and they said this was fine and normal. The nematodes were completely ineffective. I do not recommend wasting your money on this as a non toxic flea treatment. We are now trying diatomaceous earth.

The plants we treated looked healthy and pest free. It was a noticeable comparison to later added plants that had yet to be treated which quickly showed pest damage. We were also able to treat a considerable number of plants with the amount provided.

Bought these for my veggie garden and for around the house. Garden is fairly new (1 year, just moved here) and all of my root crops were full of wire worm holes last year. Yuck. And we're in the South, so fire ants, palmetto bugs (aka roaches) cm and Armyworms everywhere. I can't attest of the effectiveness of these nematodes, but I can confirm that after 3 days in shipping and hanging out in my fridge for 3 more days until the weather was right to apply, they are alive. Checked a sample with our lab microscope. Ifaked for years ana did my own fecal samples plus checked my honeybee colonies for parasites with it. Dozens of nematodes in the sample, all moving. Will probably purchase again in a month or so and reapply in a few more areas (we have 2 acres so there's no cost effective way I can cover it all.) Curious if they'll survive our sweltering summer in the cooler areas of my yard (lots of trees.) I'll l update this review this fall to let y'all know how they worked.

Our friends had recommended this product. We were skeptical but actually pleased to see that it does work!

If you have pets, indoor outdoor you need to treat your outside perimeter of the house as well as the yard with nematodes. Must be the triple blend. I raise honeybees and this is the only method to treat any honeybee pests, pesticide free and all natural. Any other treatments can kill bees! I like the fact that they keep fire ants away as well. Please do beekeepers a favor and treat your yard with nematodes instead of pesticides. If honeybees get in your pesticide they carry it back to the hive and it will kill the whole hive. Also read the instructions --- have to keep out of sunlight so treat at night after a rain or lawn watering or during a cloudy day.

I gave this product three stars because I do not have data yet to really evaluate this product. Only time will allow a really good evaluation of how effective the application of Live Beneficial Nematodes is in combatting the bad nematodes causing root knot, and the Japanese Beetles, and Colorado Potato Beetles, etc. come up out of the soil and are so destructive in my garden and the fleas and ticks which are prevalent. If this product lives up to its rhetoric, it could be a godsend here in Eastern North Carolina. I really want it to work, for I want to add figs and maybe even a couple peaches to my garden, and nematodes are the precluding factor. When I mentioned I did this application to some of my Master Gardener friends, they were a bit skeptical, noting the possible potential for adverse affects.Strategically, my decision to apply this product miscalculated application timing. The decision was triggered by observation of root knots affecting my prized gardenia. However by the time I had obtained the product we were well into a drought period, and I had to water large areas intensely for many days to give the good nematodes a chance to live. Unless I see clear reasons not to do another application, I plan to apply the same product earlier in the spring next year after soil warms up a bit but yet is much moister.

I'm writing this review after just having sprayed my front and back lawn with these guys. I don't know if it's going to work or not, but I am confident.I have a termite issue around the home, not to mention lawn troubles. I am using this as part of a larger overall strategy to reclaim my lawn and rid the soil of termites as well. I'm doing some other things like Termiticide and cleaning up an old wood pile and burning all that old wood. I'm not mixing the nematodes into the same area that has the termiticide applied to it.Anyway, I received the three sponges today and mixed them up after watering my lawn good to prepare the soil. The mixed up water had a slight smell, like it was pond or lake water so you can tell something is definitely in there. You can't see them though, that is for sure. I used an Ortho Dial n Spray to spray them over the lawn. I put it on the 3oz setting and it took me 4 sprayers full to disperse it all because I mixed them in quite a bit of water.I spent around $35 for the product and the expedited shipping. It certainly can't hurt anything, and for that price it's well worth the effort.Terminix got over $1000 of my money about five years ago and I still have termites around the property. I say let the bugs kill the bugs!!
