Work well for indoor problem. Keep refrigerated and use as needed. If your media dries they will die and need to be reapplied. I use about 1/2 teaspoon per gallon for soil or coco drench. Can add with nutes but after ph adjustment. After two applications you should see good results.

We live on property and have a well so I didn’t want to use chemicals, this was the perfect solution!I had to do 2 applications (bought it at 2 different times due to them expiring so quickly)You need to use it right away after getting them or they die. I had a pretty bad infestation of termites It seems to have done the job!Much better then chemicals. Would highly recommend 👍🏻

Seemed to work great for the fungus gnats. Unfortunately, it did little to deter the thrips currently attacking some of my flowers. I will be trying beneficial insects now. Hopefully, that will help control the population.

The only credit I can give this company is that they sent me out another free order due to the fact that the first treatment didn't do anything at all.I had an issue with soil gnats. I used the first order as shown and described on the instructions. I noticed no difference at all whatsoever. I contacted the company, and they said that I am suppose to treat them every 2 weeks which their description does not say that at all or I would've never made the purchase in the first place. Their description says "seasonal" treatments... Not biweekly treatments! After receiving their free shipping, I went ahead and treated the soil again with no results yet again. The gnats seemed unaffected, and I saw a huge outbreak in new gnats and larvae. They literally multiplied and never once were affected by these "beneficial nematodes". I wouldn't waste your money... Especially when there are way better options out there like The Amazing Doctor Zymes.

I've bought the 50mil SF nematodes a few times and have been very pleased. Every time I recieve them and go to use them, I do check them under a microscope and everytime they have made it to me alive. The packaging did include an ice pack that had gotten warm by the time it made it to me, but it didn't seem to matter, they still made it alive. That said, it is December in Michigan so it's just naturally cold outside as well, that might've played a part.Growing indoor plants in Michigan just means you will have fungus gnats, no doubts about it. I've tried the sticky traps. I've tried the katchy bug catcher. I've tried keeping fans over the tops of the soil so those little bugs couldn't fly in. Nothing of these methods have ever worked to remove the issue. You'll catch some, but the population will still grow.I see results within a day after using the nematodes, dramatic results. It cuts the population down maybe 75% that first day and maybe all the way down to 90% after a few days. That said, they won't get all the gnats out, so repeated application is necessary. I use 50mil nematoads per 5gal water as my mix. This is the most expensive but only viable method to get rid of gnats in my experience/opinion.

I tried two methods to get rid of my fungus gnats - an insect I never knew about until I bought a house and got indoor plants. Though Diatomaceous Earth is a miracle substance it didn’t work properly bc although it killed the gnats, it formed a thick paste once wet that prevented my plants from getting water and growing deeper roots which eventually killed one and almost got the second one. Plant number 3 who got nematodes, out of exhaustion from replanting #1 & #2 with the DE mix, is thriving and has never seen another gnat!!Tip - search Amazon for Katchy. This thing will get all the adult gnats (and other kinds of winged insects too). It also works great.I also did this outside on our whole property (why not go big) and saw a NOTICABLE reduction in flies, earwigs and ants.Having recently re-soiled a few things I had gnats re-appear (it’s the larvae coming in with the soil, I know - but who cares when the nematodes make them so easy to get rid of!). I did another order and poof! Everything is better again. One tip - the only available option was 3x the amount of coverage I needed... but I actually think this might have helped - especially outside in our mulch where I know the massive population of bottle flies are breeding from.I tell everyone I know about nematodes now. That’s how satisfied I am with the product.

After a bad bag of potting soil, I’ve been battling a wicked case of fungus gnats. I’ve tried all the usual tricks, but no amount of letting things dry out, exclusion, or yellow sticky traps would do the trick. With about 50 tropicals in the greenhouse I knew I needed a holistic approach and these nematodes did the trick. Within a couple of weeks of addition to the soil the gnats are almost entirely gone. I’ll monitor and terminate straggler adults with yellow traps, but the nematodes have saved the day!
