Zero stars. No eggs inside and nothing hatched. Followed all the instructions, and still nothing. Feels like I was scammed.AND the package had the listed number of eggs blacked out with a sharpie and the amount I asked for (10,000 eggs) was written on the front beside it. Suspicious

4 stars will change after they start working.EDIT UPDATE! Still 4 stars. The boxes fall easily out of the tree.I think the ladybugs I bought did better but I could see them better.Just received in mail. Didn’t see any looking in package but I put them in box. As I was hanging in trees I saw the black spots. (See picture). The white background helps see them. Guess they been hatching. Now go eat those aphids!!!

Not one hatched they said they were sending me a replacement a week later disappeared called amazon they said they didn’t have enough to send replacement for one there’s no way there is 10,000 eggs in the package I would say 500 and that’s a stretch I will be ordering mine from arbico organic and not giving them one dime again this company is a costly mistake.update in last order no eggs inside looked with microscope not one . My infestation got so bad dealing with this company so I ordered 1000 from ARBICO organic I saw about 100 so far and they keep climbing out the bottle I will never buy anything from nature good guys what a joke of a company!!!!!!!! Been over a month dealing with dead bugs or no bugs at all.

These do take some time to "get the job done" but the are 100% worth it!The street we live on is lined with Tulip Trees which are a lot less "tulip" and a LOT more aphids and sap/honeydew. For anyone not familiar with these trees, they are similar to maple trees, but unlike maple trees, they attract aphids at a scale that is almost unbelievable. You can pluck a leaf off the tree and see 20-50 aphids on a single leaf. While normally I would have let nature do its thing and just ignored the aphids, we have to park our cars on the street right under these trees. The aphids secrete a sap that is so heavy that when you walk under the trees on the sidewalk, you are essentially getting misted by sticky goo. Any cars that you park under these trees will need to be washed afterwards. For the last 10 years we have had to pay for a membership to the local carwash to help minimize the impact. We tried ladybugs, neem oil, chemicals, soap, pressure washing, nothing worked to get rid of these monsters. This year I decided to try lacewings so at least I could say that I tried. I expected that they wouldn't work and that it would be yet another failed attempt to get rid of these aphids.I bought 1 package of 10,000 in April of 2021, divided the contents into several small pouches (that come with it), and then stapled them to the tree about 15 feet up. I made sure that they were alive before I hung them up (you can start to see the tiny little things move after a few days) and then basically just let them be.After a couple weeks the aphids were doing their thing and really starting to hatch and spread their sap everywhere. We were back to washing cars a couple times a week so I decided to buy more lacewings to see if it would help. When they arrived I did the same thing, as before and stapled yet more bags to the (2) trees in front of our house. But when I was hanging up this new batch, I saw larvae from the first batch climbing all over the tree trunk! This let me know that at least some had survived and had to be eating something.Fast forward another couple of weeks and it is like a miracle, the cars stopped getting dirty and the sidewalk in front of our house is no longer sticky! I got out my ladder, climbed up the tree and inspected the leaves. I could not find even a single aphid on any of the leaves that I checked. But what makes this really amazing and why I decided to leave this review, my neighbors started to comment that their trees had also been cleaned of aphids and were no longer spreading sap everywhere!I will buy these again next year to ensure that the aphids don't come back (they are a well known predator of Tulip trees). They are well worth the money and can't say enough good things about them after having tried so many other things.

I zoomed in on the package and saw no eggs, but figured maybe I just don't know what they look like? So I put 10,000 out on my 1,000 sq foot property because I had 5 River birch trees that were infested with aphids. Over the next few days I searched for the lacewing larvae and found only a few. Out of 10,000 eggs I would think I'd find at least hundreds. I couldn't get a hold of the seller so I chatted with Amazon and they refunded me.

The eggs hatched the second day I hang them out. I’m pretty happy with the result. However, I hang the eggs on multiple plants, including big trees, rose bushes and hedges, the hedges is the only place I noticed pupa, see attached photo, which is great, and I did not find any pupa on any other plants where I hang the eggs.Another thing I found is that a lot of larvae wouldn’t climb out of the hanging bag somehow and they ended up dead in the bag. Is there anything can be done to improve this?I just ordered another two packs of lacewings, I’m not sure why the shipping fee would double since the shipping box is large enough to hold two packs of eggs. I guess weight must be a factor. All in all, I’m pretty happy with the purchase, great value for the price and my plants are doing ok so far, hopefully my little lacewing armies will finish all the whiteflies and mealy bugs this year.
