I bought the bugs. I thought they would fly away in a few days, but they wound up hanging around. I didn’t know what a juvenile ladybug looked like, you need to google that if you’re gonna buy these. I tore down a cucumber plant today that wasn’t producing and needed to go. I saw and transplanted about 25 adolescent ladybugs off of the plant I was taking down. I thought maybe I screwed up by taking the plants out. My neighbor has aphids and I don’t, and it’s the end of summer. Ladybugs primarily eat pollen, which I have plenty with cucumbers, and they need water, which I have plenty with with my aquaponics system. The ladybugs became my little friends, that I guaranty you, they protected me from aphids. I have an army of them now. My little warriors.

I bought these to control aphids on my milkweed plants that I grow for my Monarch butterflys.Every one was alive. There looked like there were millions!!!You keep them in the refrigerator to kind of slow them down.On taking them out, after a minute, they all come to life. Don’t open them in the house!They are so comical. I laughed and laughed. I used to see one, and I said, oh look. A ladybug.Now, i have thousands! I’m so happy with this purchase. I’ll see how their larvae controls the aphids, but in the meantime, they are fascinating to watch. Thanks so much. I haven’t laughed so much in a long time.The best way to pick them up is to turn them over on their backs first.Thanks again.

They swooped in, took out every aphid, and my plants are now partying. The packaging was like a luxury bug hotel.As soon as I released them, it was like "Careless Whisper" started playing—they got right to business and started humping immediately. I order ladybugs for my garden every year and these were my favorite. Normally, I will get them and they are too small and dont last long. These were great, large and lasted a long time and even bred in the garden.
