USE: Lady bugs prefer to eat aphids and will devour up to 50 a day, but they will also attack scale, mealy bugs, boil worms, leafhopper, and corn ear worm. They dine only on bugs and do not harm vegetation in any way. RELEASE: Lady bugs should always be released after sundown since they only fly in the daytime. During the night, they will search the area for food and stay as long as there is food for them to eat. The more they eat the more eggs they lay and the more bugs eating larvae you will have. It is best if the area has been recently watered. Ladybugs tend to crawl up and toward light. So release them in small groups at the base of plants and shrubs that have aphids or other bugs, and in the lower part of trees. RECOMMENDATIONS: Ladybugs may be kept in the refrigerator after they are received (35-50 degrees F.) and released as needed. Ladybugs received March through May should not be stored more than 2 to 3 days since their body fat has been depleted. From June on, they may be stored 2 to 3 months. It is normal for there to be several dead Ladybugs in the container, especially those received from March through May. These bugs have reached the end of their life cycle.

Good supplier, I purchase ladybugs whenever I start seeing spider mites or acids on our tree’s or landscaping. They make short work of the pests and keep the vegetation pest free for the season. I highly recommend purchasing from them.

Order 3000 ladybugs and very few were not crawling around in the bag. That was amazing because despite the box label, it was left in my mailbox for a good part of the day. Released them with my grandsons and they loved it. The ladybugs went right to work on the aphids and very few flew from the cherry trees they were released on. I will definitely order more if I need to.

The ladybugs arrived quickly, only a couple had died. They disperse quickly & were very friendly, climbing up my hands & arms as I sprinkled them throughout our gardens.

I've ordered from others before and normally half are dead on arrival. Not true here, very few were dead, and these were very active! Will ordered again!!!

These little guys arrived very quickly and were very healthy! I had to wait to set them free, but waiting the extra day in the fridge worked perfect! In fact it helped to “calm” them down so releasing them didn’t mean 1000s of ladybugs crawling up your arm in the dark!!! I would have liked learning about putting the ladybug food out so there would be more to eat for them before getting them delivered. Maybe next time! I’ve only seen a few on my plants since the big release so I’m guessing that my neighbors are seeing them eating little evil aphids in their gardens!!

The lady bugs that I ordered came a day early, Yaaaaaah. They were delivered on my porch at about 5:00pm and they were on my porch about 10min tops. The temperature at that time was 64 Fahrenheit. I brought them inside and waited about an hour so that I could let them go just before dusk just like the directions say. I followed the directions to the "T". I purchased 3k ladybugs and maybe 500 were alive. I had such high hopes for the lady bugs through the mail, it sounds like such a good idea but, now I feel like I waisted $50.00. There is a nursery about 75 miles from here. I think it would be best to make the drive. Lady bugs through the mail, may sound like a good idea but, it is definitely not. I would recommend Google-ing "lady bugs near me" I'm sure there is a nursery near you that can supply you with live ladybugs. The pictures attached are kind of sad and disturbing. If you have weak stomach you may not want to veiw them.
