The board works fine as expected. My only gripe is the lack of an ARGB header. I think this should be standard on a newer lga1700 board, even if it's a budget one.For newer pc builders, the ARGB header is a 3 pin 5V connection which is standard for most modern ARGB fans. This motherboard only has an RGB header which is a 4 pin 12V connection. Check which fans you're using before buying this motherboard.

Yeah, what can I say it worked right out of the box, no issues and had been going strong for the last 4 months. I does not have a lot of bells and whistles and the VRM's are nothing to write home about. Using this motherboard in my son's gaming PC. Has been in use for 1yr and is working well. Mounted in the Corsair 3000D PC case with ease. Plenty of memory slots for adding/changing memory capacity, as well as Graphics card slots. So far so good.

So when it arrived and pins were bent in a few areas that should have been my first clue; but I pushed them back into place and after a while I thought I had it together-- only to realize the mobo CPU pins were bent beyond ANY repair too!Who lets crap like this get boxed? It had to have been in this condition before it was packaged since it was secure in box, which means they just shipped it out in this state!Second time I tried an MSI motherboard and second time I've been burned. Never again.Edit: MSI won't allow me to open an RMA because they keep saying the Serial Number isn't valid (it's correct and typed correctly). They won't let me RMA it through them so I will need to try and go through amazon.Edit2: I still don't recommend this motherboard; but amazon thankfully helped me get a working one (MSI sure didn't).I ran into many issues, the CMOS reset has to be done with a makeshift wire jumper because you can't get the battery out, there is no button, and it has metal sockets instead of pins for the jumper to make it extra difficult.Then the driver software tries to install malware aka "Norton 360" among other things that spam ads at you.Lastly, I struggled to get a cooler to fit with it's mispositioned CPU heatsink screw holes. I have 3 different modern AIO Coolers and NONE OF THEM FIT. I had to jerry rig a temporary one until I can find one that fits the stupid thing.Just overall not worth the hassle, save up, buy something better. This motherboard was nothing but a headache from purchase to "complete" set up.Edit: The audio driver for this uninstalls itself if you do ANYTHING regarding hardware changes btw. Just another fun thing this has given me since purchase.

the motherboard does its jobs. However since lack of mosfet heatsink, the MOS Temp goes easily over 90C, then it will lower down the CPU speed.I ordered a set of after market heatsink, work with 13600 full load temp avarage of 60C.

I was looking for a budget friendly board for my work computer. I've had quite a few MSI motherboards and other products in the past. Having had great experiences before, I decided on them once again. The motherboard has everything I need for a workhorse. I loaded it up with a 13th gen i5, 1tb ssd, and 64gb of ram. Yes 64gb and its rockin! Its a great dev machine and I'm very happy with it so far. No issues whatsoever from the motherboard.

This motherboard is my first MSI build. It provides what I need, namely sufficient power and sufficient expansion capabilities. The last desktop I purchased was sometime before the last turn of the century. All the others I have assembled myself. It is always an adventure and this one was very smooth. The system has a 12th generation Intel cpu (12100f), 32 gb of ram (DDR4, 3200 mhz), and an MSI RX 580 graphics card. This motherboard has a gen 4 PCIe bus and the speed is readily visible, so a gen 4 nvme is advisable to take advantage of the available speed. Mine is an HP (500 gb) that is plenty quick. This system runs the Zorin OS (Linux), which started up smoothly the first time I turned it on. (That's what's nice about Linux, that you can move a hard drive from one machine to another and it starts up smoothly in the new build.) Motherboards need to be stable and provide a solid foundation for your desktop. This one does precisely that and provides two expansion slots currently used for a wifi card (TP-Link) and a usb-c card. The motherboard also can accept a 13th generation Intel cpu, which allows for updating down the road. This will necessitate DDR5 ram however. This system is built for everyday computing, and the motherboard provides a good foundation for that. Best of luck in your computing adventures. This MSI motherboard meets my needs quite adequately.

Very solid motherboard, everything works just fine. It stays pretty cool and has some pretty great expandablitiy. My only complaint is it lacks 3 pin ARGB connectors for fans, so you'll have to get a rgb hub.

This motherboard is a good motherboard for the price, if you're not looking for fancy ARGB or Wi-Fi capability. It can support everything of a major build but it's not very beginner or user friendly. I have tried and failed to find much documentation on this motherboard, it lacks a diagram detailing pinouts and ports. It also lacks documentation regarding dual channel RAM slots. The only place I could find the RAM slots info was in the Youtube video on how to install it, and even then it doesn't tell you much. I recommend this motherboard only for people who know what they're doing with a computer due to the lack of documentation. Otherwise it's a decent pick if you're just looking for a cheap motherboard that works and works well.

Yo estaba ansioso esperando la placa base y cuando habri la caja lo primero que me encontré fue el nilon del banco de conexiónes estaba habierto , cuando empiezo revisar la placa habían orificios rallados e incluso había un tornillo puesto en la placa , la tapa plástica de la cpu no estaba en su lugar , luna de las entradas de audio estaba medio partido y la placa estaba semi doblada 🤦 en conclusión al parecer me enviaron un placa de uso como se en las fotos , rápidamente me puse en contacto con un agente de Amazon para gestionar su devoluciónEn mi opinión no todo se puede comprar por Amazon aunque tengan precios tentadores y cometí el error de comprar toda la PC por piezas en Amazon ojalá no tenga más problemas con piezas defectuosas porque me gaste mucho dinero comprando todas las piezas 🤦 en fin para los que lean este Review no compren está placa puede que le hagan perder el tiempo ahora lo que haré es buscar la placa físicamente aunque me cueste más caro

I was looking for something cheap to run my 13th gen i7 13700. Heck! What a steal for a board! Less than $100! This is for my budget gaming PC I built. Added a nice 850 watt psu, 2 nvmes and a 6750. I've had this board for a few days, no bottling necking or any software issues.
