The ASRock A520M-HDV is an excellent choice for a budget AMD build, as it supports Ryzen 3000, 4000G, 5000, and 5000G series CPUs. It features PCIe 3.0 for GPUs, an M.2 slot for fast storage, and supports up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM. This motherboard is simple, reliable, and ideal for both gaming and office setups; it also has an attractive design.The only downsides are the lack of an ARGB header for enhanced lighting options and the absence of built-in Wi-Fi, which means you'll need to purchase a Bluetooth and Wi-Fi adapter separately. However, aside from these limitations, it performs very well! I haven't experienced any cooling issues, especially since I use a good air cooler. I know the pc doesn't look that good but its a start and I'm actually happy that it works .

Low-end model, but should be fine for lightweight tasks. Comes with all the expected accessories, plus a support CD and two SATA cables.

It was easy to install into my case. Easy to install my cpu. No BIOS update needed for the Ryzen 5 3600. Very easy to update to windows 11, as long as your ssd is on the GPT partition not the MBR partition. I’m not overlocking my cpu so I can’t help you there but yeah very good budget motherboard! Highly recommended!

Apta para armar un equipo básico pero con posibilidades de sacarle todo su potencial si leemos el manual y le ponemos un procesador, un SSD y unas memorias RAM sugeridas por el fabricante.

Alles bestens kann mich nicht erinnern, dass es bisher irgendwelche Probleme gab. Kaufe seit 2002 schon wo diese Firma erst auf den Markt kam deren Boards und bereute es bisher nur 1 Mal (SIS Chip) und das war in den Anfangszeiten. Wer ein günstiges Board mit etwas mehr als die Konkurrenz bietet sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

I’ve bought three A520’s and none have worked correctly.First time, the motherboard somehow fried my RAM and then fried itself.Second time, took hours and hours of troubleshooting just to get the ability to get through POST.Third time, I got done building a pc yesterday and went to turn it on and nothing happened. Ran through testing all parts, including using two known good PSU’s just to find that the motherboard was DOA.I keep buying them because they’re cheap and I was hoping third time was the charm. Never again.

When I built my PC, I paired a Ryzen 5 5600G with an MSI B450 MOBO. That MOBO died a few days back.I purchased a Gigabyte B450M from Amazon a few days ago.I installed it and it ran without any trouble. No bios update needed for that board. I was happy.Then a few hours ago, my computer loses all display!I changed all the HDMI cords, Removed my GPU and tried the APU, Nothing...LUCKY FOR ME,I had ordered THIS MOBO by mistake. Needless to say I swapped out the MOBO again, And everything works just as it should. NO BIOS UPDATE REQUIRED FOR 5000 SERIES CPU'S.So far so good. I'm happy once again. LOLWill update if anything changes.Great little MOBO for the price, Came next day.
