I take large work gloves…these are at least XL or maybe even XXL. No doubt the remove loose fur better than most brushes, BUT, none of my 3 cats like the feel while being brushed even gently. My Savannah will quickly get up and move away if I start brushing her with these, my unknown breed 17lb male gets upset if I try to brush him, and our 5 month old ex-feral kitten will let me brush her for about 20 seconds, before she struggles to get away. All three love to be brushed with a fine tooth brush made for cats.In all fairness, these gloves work VERY well to remove loose fur…I just think they “pull” to much on my cat’s fur.

The wrist closure on the grooming glove I've been using on my cat for 6+ years had worn out completely, so I needed a new one. I already own a very nice collapsible pet carrier by Mr. Peanut, so I thought I'd try out their grooming glove. I like the wrist closure on this set much better. The glove works great. When I began to groom my cat when she was a kitten to get her used to the procedure, she hated the common cat brush. So, I chose a glove in hopes of it being more likable. While she is never happy to be groomed, she will tolerate the glove much better. As long as I reward her sitting for me for a minute or two, she'll allow me to groom her. The glove removes so much fur! I can't remember ever seeing so much fur come off of any of my cats as it does off this girl. She's a tabby/Bengal mix.During the winter, my cat does not shed much, but I still groom her once a week. Beginning in spring and through mid autumn, I need to groom her every 3 days or so. At each grooming session, I'll groom her, clean the glove, groom again, clean the glove again, groom a third and final time, clean the glove completely.I hit on a useful way to clean a glove that works really well. The first time I tried to remove the fur, I was astonished like everyone else I've read who found cleaning a glove to be annoying. But then I took a look at my super sticky pet roller and began to roll it over the "bristles" of the glove. It takes just a bit of effort to press the sticky roller all around the glove to get all the fur out from between the bristles, but it's quite doable. I may go through 2-3 sheets of roller paper to get the job done after a big fur day, but it works! To groom my cat, I roll out an old towel on the floor with the grooming glove nearby, along with a sticky pet roller. And a bag of cat treats. Everything is at hand. The sticky roller cleans both sides of the glove, then the towel. I don't know what I'd do without a good sticky roller.Just for grins, when she was a kitten, I rolled my cat's back with the sticky roller. She LOVED that, and ever since, whenever she sees or hears me rolling fur off a chair, the bed, whatever, she comes running. Rolling the sticky roller all over her after a grooming session polishes off the last of any loose fur. And, it makes her happy with me again :) It also serves as a quick in-between loose fur pickup between glove sessions.

We have a 17-year-old cat who is having a hard time grooming himself and his hair is getting matted. Bought the gloves unsure if he would take to brushing his hair with them but he does well, although we only use one glove at a time. The hair is pretty easy to get off the glove when done with brushing him. Recommend.

The first time I purchased these gloves, I was doubtful that my cats would tolerate any kind of brushing. They are long-haired Main Coons and for whatever reason, do not like any of the brushes or combs I have been trying to use. From the first time of use, both of my cats sat still and enjoyed the experience. The gloves hold onto the excess fur and are easy to clean if you begin at one edge of the glove and start to peal off the fur in one piece. Sometimes I need to hold my cat under it's belly to keep it upright so I can get their sides. They are so relaxed by the brushing, they tend to sink into the floor and offer their necks for brushing.Very happy with this purchase which has solved a very real problem for me and my cats.

Makes bath time so much easier!!! Takes off excess fur and small mats! Really suds up the shampoo and gets in all the hard to reach places. Now I bathe both my dogs at the same time and it takes half the time it did before we got these! No doggy parent should be without these!! A must have!!

I’ve used on my dog to wash him and also to deflyff his old fur. He seemed to like but also recoiled, maybe it was too much or maybe he has another problem. Either way it helped to remove a lot of fur and get him cleaned up. Gloves stay on and Velcro hasn’t given up.

I simply pick up her blue gloves and Lulu heads for the bed, waiting to be groomed. She loves it, and so do I. No more fur all over the place and she's a very happy, somewhat spoiled cat. Very easy and fun for both of us. It's a win-win. We groom every day -- sometimes twice -- this is a great groomer. When I had multiple cats, they waited in line for their turn and all three of them loved the glove treatment, as well. Your pet will be happy with these blue gloves.

My one cat seeks to murder me when I brush her - these she can tolerate. They are a little better than a standard brush I have found. They work really nice in combination with a furminator to remove the hair it pulls out. It's mostly easy to get the fur off the actual pads, but the fabric part of the gloves not so much.

We have a beautiful long haired ragdoll cat who doesn’t really like being groomed - even with the £25 special brush we got her. The vet nurse recommended these specific gloves so at £8 I thought I’d give them a try. Our cat LOVES them, it’s like they’re covered in catnip or some other magical potion. The vet nurse actually brushed her yesterday, but I was amazed at what came off her with a 5min session with these gloves today. Our cat was actually rubbing herself on them at one point and we managed to do even her tummy and legs which are usually a no-no. She even followed me down to the kitchen for some more grooming! Just rub the gloves together under a tap to clean them. Brilliant product. If you’ve got a long haired cat get some!

I have never found any that work for my shepherds thick, thick hair. I usually just end up pulling hundreds of puffs of hair out of her all season-- This year, I decided to try these. The reviews seemed genuine and were better than any other ones I looked at. The price was also great so if they didn't work, I wasn't going to be out much money. When we got them, my son put them on and started "brushing/petting" her. Hair was flying. It was like edward scissorhands haircuts! HAIR EVERYWHERE!But it worked. And we do it daily now since the weather is so bipolar, my dogs don't know whether to shed or not shed. So we just pet/brush them. They love it. Its like a massage for them. And we have wood floors, so the lack of hair since we got these has been tremendous. Picture dark wood floors with golden dog hair--- ugh. We swept a couple times a day. Now I can go a couple days without having to constantly sweep dog hair up.Its amazing. I will definitely be recommending them to my dog loving friends!! Thanks for being as great as promised!!
