Fuller’s Single-Sided Pet Comb features a single row of 25 rust-resistant, stainless steel pins inset into a durable polypropylene shank to supply long-term, reliable use for year on end. These steel pins are widely spaced, making them ideal in helping to quickly and easily eradicate tangles and mats while they smooth out the coat to minimize the chances of tangles reoccurring. Fuller’s Combing Tips
For best results, use the Fuller Brush Single-Sided Pet Comb for all-over combing or to touch-up problem areas to reduce the occurrence of mats, tangles and knots. I wouldn't use this as your primary grooming tool, but its good to have on hand if you ask me. Helps if you miss a day or two of grooming, my cat preders it over the usual brush for some areas like his legs.

This is my go to brush for my wavy fleece coat labardoodle for the typical mats. I have found it very hard to replace the brush I had. This one's a keeper. Handle is plastic and I assume will not last long, but happy to replace if needed. Comb tips are rounded so the skin is not damaged when brushing. But must still use with care. Works great!!

I've been using this comb on my Carolina Dingo a lot this summer. He has a gorgeous coat that's very thick and he gets really hot this time of year. He has an undercoat and we aren't supposed to shave him but I comb him everyday to keep as much of that extra fur off of him as possible. It's also helpful to mitigate dog hair all over my floors. We have foxtails in our back field so he sometimes comes in with them imbedded in his fur. He's like velcro how everything seems stick to him. This comb is does a good job of getting all the loose fur, foxtails and whatever debris and brush that sticks to him as he walks by. I like the narrower side, the wider spaces don't seem to catch as much. Cleaning it out is kind of a pain. I have another one that's similar with a push button cleanout which is very handy. Other than that, it's pretty solid and made by the well-known Fuller brush company. Was very excited to get it. Beautiful design, came in a nice box. As a groomer for over 30 years I can say not all rakes are created equally. Compared to Oster, and Vibrant Life Rakes it falls very short. Barely pulls any shedding undercoat hair out. Can't seem to find the other 2 brands which used to cost around $7. They were excellent. Luckily I still have one. So with disappointment the search for a shedding rake that does the job very well continues. For adult German Shepherds forget it. This isn't the one. Darn!
